General account security


This includes information on setting passwords, lending accounts to other players/account sharing and general information.


Setting a password

When setting a password for your account remember the most important aspects:

- The complexity : Make a password at least 6-8 characters long, use letters, numbers and symbols and possibly a uppercase letter at some point.

- Variation : Use a password that you do not use on any other server, or website. Use a different password compared to your forum account.

Tips : Do not use birthdays, parts of your first/last name, your favourite sports team etc


Account Sharing

To provide maximum security to your account refrain from sharing your account with friends or family members. If someone other than yourself knows your password, the security of your account can be comprimised.


General Information

Keep your passwords unique from other Internet services and other sa:mp servers. Never hand out your password; No staff within LSRCR will ever ask for your password.

If your account has a security problem e.g Your password no longer works and you cannot access your account, contact account support or staff immediately.

This is all basic information, however many people simply ignore/forget about it.
