BEFORE THE TUTORIAL STARTS - I KNOW THERE EXIST ALREADY TUTORIALS, BUT PEOPLE ASK ME EVERYTIME HOW TO ADD SOMETHING OR.. YEA.


Includes:
1. How to add Skins/Cars/Weapons/Texture Mods/Roads
2. How to change your Sniper Crosshair
3. How to change your NORMAL Crosshair

1. Hey, how to add weapons, skins, car mods and co?

Well, its easy. At the first, you must know what you wanna mod.

Renaming
A skin mod for Army? Well, lets take an example - you download a SWAT Skin Mod and wanna use it for Army.
Like this one here:

Now the files have the name swat.txd and swat.dff, so we rename it to army.txd and army.dff
How I know its called army.txd and army.dff?

Good, the first step is done.

Importing
Well - now we need an IMG Editor, for example: Spark, Alci's IMG Editor
In past I used Spark, but at the moment Alci's cause.. idk why
(You can get it here http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=17269)

So, lets open it.
At the first, we won't open the gta3.img!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We will open the custom.img in the SAMP Folder in your Main GTA folder.
The advantage there is, that you don't need any backup files.
The Files gets 'overwritten' as long as you're in game. (The mods won't show up in Singleplayer or MTA then)
my Main Folder is called SA-MP, dont wonder - I had one with MTA cause I played MTA too

1. Press Open
2. Go to your Main Folder of GTA
3. Open SAMP Folder
4. Open custom.img

Alright, your custom.img should be empty except 1 file. Mine is.. well, full.
So, now we gonna import this shit!

1. Press the Import Symbol (watch GIF)
2. Hold STRG and click at army.dff and army.txd (it marks then both files)
3. press Open
4. Save


Wow, we did it! Well, the same thing works for Weapons and cars. (I would NEVER add a M4 skin on a deagle, but you can mod an infernus mod (like a lamborghini) on a bullet.. BUT IT FUCKS THE HANDLING, SO KEEP THE STANDART CARS AS I DO)


2. Hey e.e, can you explain me how I add a Sniper crosshair?

No I cant, jk ofc i do.

At the first, you need a sniper.txd and the Sniper crosshair as a PNG.. well, I would never put a new crosshair on the standart sniper, so take a sniper mod!
Now we need TXD Workshop - http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=8320

1. Open it!
2. Press ' Open TXD '
3. Search your sniper.txd
4. Click it and press 'open'
5. click on 'SNIPERcrosshair' and press Import
6. Search your Crosshair.png and press open
7. Save
8. Import the sniper.txd in your custom.img (The upper tutorial)

At the first, search a crosshair that you like on this site here:
http://crosshairs.cali-kartell.de/
Then download it with -> Right click on the crosshair, Save as and save it as .png
(yeye, i have german as language but this shouldn't be the problem, OKAY?!?!?!?!)

Well, now we can begin with the serious stuff, yo!
Now we need TXD Workshop again. -> http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=8320

1. Open it
2. press Open TXD
3. Open your hud.txd in your : GTA SA Folder -> models folder
4. Click on 'siteM16'
5. Press Import
6. Click at your crosshair.png and open
7. Save TXD
8. finished
