Hey guys, I was wondering if you can help out. I'm looking for the optimal settings on which I can run CS:GO.

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2670QM CPU @ 2.20GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 6.00 GB
System type: 64-bit Operating System

Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000
GeForce GT 525M
Driver Version 391.35
1366 x 768, 60Hz

I'm looking for settings that provide me with no lag and good performance, but not to the extent to crash my PC while playing. Quality could be added as long as it doesn't lag me ingame (I'll test the settings if tweaks are to be made). I'm mainly looking for great performance, thanks!

Current NVIDIA Control Panel Settings for CSGO
Ambient Occlusion: (Off)
Anisotropic filtering: (Application-controlled)
Anti-aliasing - Gamma correction: (On)
Anti-aliasing - Mode: (Application-Controlled)
Anti-aliasing - Transparency: (Off)
CUDA - GPUs: (All)
Maximum pre-rendered frames: (Use the 3D application settings)
OpenGL rendering GPU: (Auto-select)
Power management mode: (Optimal Power)
Shader Cache: (On)
Texture filtering - Anisotropic optimization: (Off)
Texture filtering - Negative LOD bias: (Allow)
Texture filtering - Quality: (Quality)
Texture filtering - Trilinear optimization: (On)
Threaded optimization: (Auto)
Triple buffering: (Off)
Vertical Sync: (Use the 3D application settings)
Virtual Reality pre-rendered frames: (1) Not in CS:GO

Let me know if anything else is needed

Currently under custody of PETA for disrespecting a very important living being. I hope I recover soon. Wish me luck. In order to improve my attitude (towards humans as well as cats), I have taken a brave step to pet cats. I am owner of 2 cats now and will sue anyone who tries to harm my cat in anyway (verbally and physically).

Turn all the settings all the way down, then run it.
After that, keep adding a LITTLE BIT more quality to a single setting, repeat until game starts lagging.

No, turn everything off and play on low settings. That's the best thing you should for playing CSGO.

Change your aspect ratio in your csgo settings to 4:3, it will help a shit ton.

Telling from a game development experience, turn on ambient occlusion, it will turn off the mesh for objects your camera can't see, will get you more fps.
I never messed with cs go settings tho, you can check if it helps
