So, I recently (as in, back in October) put a laptop on a layaway plan, meaning I make small payments and receive the laptop at the last payment. Issue is... It's a laptop. I don't mind trackpads, but I'm not going to be kicking ass with it. I need a mouse. But... My god are there so many! Logitech, Acer, Samsung, literally everyone and their grandmother somehow sells them. So, I figured since the idea of looking at over 1,000 mouses for the right one is a waste, I'd ask you all!

Here's what I want/need
1: absolutely MUST be a USB wired mouse! I despise wireless ones
2: must be windows 10/Acer compatible
3: needs to be slightly smaller than the average mouse, I have tiny girl hands
4: must have a scroll wheel with middle click
5: I'd prefer it not have 'force feedback's in the wheel, aka it should roll free, not click
6: side buttons are fine if it has top click as well
7: prefer it have two separate mouse buttons, not a single piece on top
8: preferably under $50 usd as that's about the best I can afford

Thanks everyone who suggests!

Pretty much all gaming mice have feedback on the scroll, there are a few that are able to toggle this feedback function, especially logitech mice, but those are usually business oriented mice most of the time. I'd personally recommend you some wireless mice, but it's not what you're looking for I guess and might be out of your budget. Anyway, check out the razer viper mini, it covers some of your points and is a smaller mouse https://www.razer.com/gaming-mice/razer-viper-mini

if you do require the free scroll option, https://www.razer.com/gaming-mice/razer-basilisk-v3 could be an option, it has a switch that changes the scroll mode from feedback to free.

Here a quick shape comparison between the two (https://www.eloshapes.com/)

Picking out a mouse you like is based on it's weight, shape, feel and purpose, and the market has plenty options and different spec available. I'd say, look at gaming mice that have an ergonomic shape such as the BenQ Zowie EC2, other popular mice that are trending right now are options like the logitech pro x superlight(wireless), Glorious Model O, SteelSeries Rival 3, Logitech G203, also find out what type of mousegrip you have cuz that also plays a role with all those different mice shape.

Hopefully this gives you an idea on what to look for if you don't know much about gaming mice. In the end, it’s all personal preference.

I have used Razer deathadder and Logitech g102 lightsync (known as Logitech g203).. since I don't have gigantic hands, I prefer the Logitech one more, but the Razer one is just as good (but you will have problems in adapting to the new mouse because it's a big mouse).. they both have that scroll feedback though
