LSRCR Version 8.1 R45 Release

LSRCR Version 8.4.5 is now on the server and there’s quite a few updates that you’ll have to know about! We have listened to your suggestions and we have noticed that the majority of the players feels like it’s imbalanced between cops and criminals, this is why this update is mainly for criminals.

The Black Market

The Black Market is a secret place only accessible to criminals and civilians. It’s located in the LS Jefferson train tunnel, on the exit side. Only criminals are able to enter and you are not able to enter with law enforcement around, players who leave the blackmarket are automatically protected for about 25 seconds from camping law enforcement. Excessively camping the Black Market to prevent players from entering is forbidden. You are required to have 1500 score to access the Black Market.

• New exclusive Black Market items:
• Cop Bat (1 charge): Stun a law enforcement agent between 2 and 10 seconds. The law enforcement agent can not move or be damaged and you have another chance at escaping. A stunned law enforcement agent is still able to use commands so watch out!
  You may use the Cop Bat by using /stun (id).
  *Added after: A player is immune to another stun for 30 seconds.
• S.W.A.T. Bomb Jammer (1 charge): Will jam S.W.A.T. bombs in the area you place the jammer, it doesn’t affect a very high range but it will be enough to protect you and some other vehicles! The S.W.A.T. Bomb Jammer jammer will only last for 30 seconds.
  You may activate the S.W.A.T. Bomb Jammer using /jamswatbomb
• Taze Reflector (3 charges): Will reflect a taze upon the tazing law enforcement agent, after reflecting one taze the reflector will be inefficient for 15 seconds and will not reflect. This means that it’s better to run after reflecting to be on the safe side!
  You may toggle the Taze Reflector using /tazereflector (/tazeref)
  *Added after: A player is immune to being reflected on for 25 seconds, the 15 seconds also apply for the reflecting player.
• Shock Gun (12 charges): Although this is not an exclusive item to the Black Market, the Black Market variant is more efficient and it is able to hold up to 12 charges. These charges can however only be bought from The Black Market.
  You can use the Shock Gun using /shock (id).
• Handcuff lockpicks (5 charges): Lockpicks are not exclusive to the Black Market either, you may purchase them from a salesman and also from 24/7. At the black market however, they have 5 charges compared to the normal 3.
  You can use the hand cuff lock picks using /pcs (id). (/pickcuffs)

Weapons and Drugs

The Black Market also offers some of the cheaper weapons and drugs you have seen. You can quickly buy the weapons you need by purchasing a weapon packet, and then the remaining weapons from the other rack. Drugs are sold at a cheaper price at the Black Market (down to $15 per gram!), so you might want to think twice before revisiting the drug house, although the drug house will be safer in terms of law enforcement! The limit for drugs is 500 for civilians and 1000 for drug dealers.

Illegality

The Black Market is an area specific to criminals so when visiting, you need to expect that law enforcement will come after you. Innocent people do not hang out at the black market and trading is noticed, you need to expect that you will obtain wanted level in here.

Dynamic weather

We now have dynamic weather on the server! This means there are several types of weather and it will change randomly, this is something players have been wanting for a long time, but again I know there are some of you who would like no weather at all. For those of you who want the standard LSRCR weather, you can always use /toggleweather.

NOTE: If you notice any bugs with any of the weathers, please report it to any online staff.

Army Updates

• An emergency eject system has been added to the hydra, you are now able to eject yourself in emergencies, be sure to have some altitude when flying because it will not work if you are too close to the ground.
• The army paychecks have all been increased by a tiny bit, but the higher rank the more it has been increased.
• The health of the Rhino has been changed from 10.000 to 8.000, and the Rustler downstairs has been replaced with two brand new ones at the upper deck!
• We have also added a Sparrow to the L.V Army base and changed the RPG bullets from 3 to 6.

Pagati Updates

• Roleplay names have been added for Pagati. The consigliere and don are the only ones who are able to set your roleplay name.
• Your roleplay name will appear in /pglist and /pgr.
• Your roleplay name will appear in /w, /cw and /me, but this will only affect the pagati zone as it can confuse newer players.
• /pgr and /pgm have been updated to look better.
• A dispenser has been added to the pagati base.

Trucker Updates

2 new trailers have been added at Las Venturas and San Fierro located at;

• Las Venturas - Spinybed (North of PD)
• San Fierro - Easter Basin (The Docks)

General server updates

• A car shop has been added to San Fierro (SFC vehicles - located at Otto’s).
• Anti deathmatching has been added for chainsaw, your chainsaw will now be automatically disarmed when deatchmatched with.
• S.W.A.T.'s /swatlist command has been changed to appear differently for players in S.W.A.T. skin.
• Several bugs and typos have been fixed.
• /puthydraulics (ID) has been added for mechanics.
• A few updates have been added for admins and moderators as well to make their lives a tiny bit easier.

Dispensers

The dispenser is a new object here at LSRCR, there is currently two of them on the server already. One is located in the Black Market and the other is located in the Pagati Lounge. They are not exclusive to the Black Market or Pagati however, they may be donated for (placed in bases for instance). If you feel like we should have one of these at a specific server location, you can always suggest it!

The dispenser has the ability to store beers, wines, and blunts. Its amount is not infinite, sooner or later you will have to run to the 24/7 and refill it. This leaves room for tasks in roleplay and similar things, but in the end it's a pretty fun object anyway!
