The message in this is actually pretty intense and spot on. Two people REFUSE to take the spot of another because they blindly followed the teachings of someone from thousands of years ago. "God will punish non-believers!" well, no. A god, a REAL god, would be smart enough to understand, as we saw here. If god truly does exist, this is how he would be. But does it prove he does? Not exactly. While this teaches a moral story, this too is nothing more than someone's thoughts. This came from HUMAN, not GOD. Consider that. And remember this...

"Judge not lest ye be judged."
"Treat others as you wish to be treated."
"Everyone is equal in the eyes of the Lord."
