Do we really have souls?

After we die the physical body will rot.
But our souls...i'd like to think of our souls as a type of energy.
Physics teaches us that no energy is ever lost, that energy cannot be destory, only that it changes form - This is the law of conservation of energy. Therefore, perhaps it is possible that this energy of ours, that our "spiritual energy" is never lost, that it just changes form. The recycling of energy.
I dont think that there is any proof of that but still,for me personally,reincarnation exceeds as a far better explanation than the "heaven".

I think that after you die,you spend 40 days on Earth,I mean,your soul.Then I have no Idea what happens but I think you go to heaven and then you spend some time there and then you are born again but at different gender...I don't wanna be a girl

I think you should not say that, if you die you go go to heaven or hell, why should the soul stay 40 days in the world? And saying
about ' I dont wanna be a girl' is like if you were a girl saying ; ' I dont wanna be a boy '.

Actually when you die,your body functions shut down,so you wont be able to see anything,even "darkness".
