Player feedback is one of the most important parts in our community. We noticed a lack of synchronization between certain server areas that were always time consuming and hard for admins to manage.
To allow everyone a quicker way to address 'concerns', a role of 'Community Coordinator' was created. For now, the team will involve one person: [Lsrcr]Andrew. His key contributions will be but are not limited to the following:
1. Deal with all writing and publications for the server (stickied topics, etc)... 2. Coordinates and schedules discussion or meetings between various areas of the server (administrators, group leaders, players, etc) to voice concerns 3. Reaching out to the player community and handling suggestions or other related topics to relay to the appropriate groups 4. Coordinating or gauging community interest in events and other related topics, involving monthly, annual or special events (example: Christmas time events) 5. Reviewing rules and modifying conflicting rules
Hello. For right now we’re still working out some of the kinks on everything, but I think right now one of my biggest focuses is communication, so my main focus right now will be both acting as a liaison between the players and the staff, group leaders, etc. I’m still working things through, but you should start to see some stuff coming out in the next week or so. There’s a lot more I’d like to say right now, but I’m on my phone, so I’ll get to it later.
Looking forward to the good that this brings. A new and effective tool of communication has the potential to largely benefit this community if operated correctly. Best of luck to the new coordinator in rolling the system out.
