How do you think they're using God? In what way do they control people?
They got the bible which speaks of god as the almighty who can answer all peoples' prayers and help them. People believe in that, some don't even know about the bible, but they heard talks from person to person and that's how they have the thought from their youth that there is a god, it is real, he helps people, he protects you everywhere, all the time. That's how the brainwashing process became succesful. People go to churches, they give money to churches, every single old person is so thick that you would never break the ice and make him become an atheist.
God doesn't answer everyone's prayers for a reason.
The Bible describes God as an omnipotent and benevolent deity. Omnipotent-benevolent means that God is all-powerful and well-meaning. You'd ask, how is God both well-meaning and all-powerful when there is hunger, pain, and sickness all over the world? Human tragedy seems like proof that God could not possibly be both all-powerful and well-meaning. If He loves us and has the power to change our situation, He would prevent our pain, wouldn’t he?

Tell me, if you had an 8 year old son, would you let him skateboard?
If I had an 8 year old son, I would not let him skateboard. I wouldn't bring him close to this sport in the first place, because instead I can show him something more interesting and less dangerous.
The thing about praying is when people pray, they hope god to help them. They stay positive about the situation and expect it to happen. When it happens, they think god did it. But that's not true. Come on and try to be negative all the time, you'll keep on receiving negative things over and over again, but when you start thinking positive, you'll receiving positive. You can link that with god, but I think that's the energy of the universe, not god.

Yea, we aren't the only ones on the universe. As you know, scientists said that aliens have built the Egyptian pyramids, I don't believe people (only) have built them. Like how many humans are required to lift one of the pyramids stones so high up, huh?

Surely there have been people who were abducted by aliens, but are only a few.

How can you explain those signs In the fields, I doubt some lonely farmer has taken his tractor and went to "make" them. Probably alien UFOs have landed there and made those signs.

Have you noticed all the pictures found on the internet of aliens are the same. A small creature with big eyes and light green skin. http://i.frognews.bg/images/priroda/alien.jpg

One day they might come on Earth and what will happen after? :geek:

I think they already did.
The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves, “You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I’m just not close enough to get the job done.”

Yes, they have. But the people who know that are only a few and are afraid to announce it officially. Who may know about them? The president of USA (obviously, the USA is the most powerful country in present time), NASA ( ? ) and ordinary people who faced aliens.

Or (my theory) they visited us in the past like 5k years ago, and they helped us to learn few things that are important for the future (like agriculture, irrigation system etc.) and maybe building the pyramids(they are placed just like the Orion`s belt)
Scientist have found strange looking symbols in the pyramids,on the buildings of the Maya`s and in other places that come from that time. This is a proof of my theory.

So you would deprive him of a potential hobby which can be completely safe with some pads and a helmet?

Wait, what? So if I just think positively, anything I want can happen? And when I think negatively, nothing will happen? That doesn't make much sense.

Why isn't it true? What about all the miracles that happen to people, miracles that science cannot explain? Tumours disappearing, people getting healed, their doctors speechless.. I personally know people, Christians and Muslims, who have had God help them. Example, a man has a tumour. He can't just sit back and pray, without taking meds, going to the hospital, all the chemotherapy and whatnot, you'd be fucking thick if you did that, and some people do. In Islam it says that you cannot rely completely on God and ignore all scientific and medical help. Just because miracles haven't happened to you doesn't mean they don't exist.

He will be attracted to that "safe" hoby from his youth. He'll be skateboarding without any pads or a helmet in the future when he's a teenager and that will bring many complications to his and my life. Why make a child suffer at a sport he enjoys, when you can show him something like football or basketball, which are much more less dangerous.

What you said doesn't, but this does: You think positive - you receive positive. You think negative - you receive negative.

One man crashed with a plane or something. The doctors said that he'll be a handicap for life, but that's what the doctors thought, not him. He said to himself "walk out by December" and wrote it down on a note.
He did. He even started walking. That's what the the energy of the universe is capable of. The man didn't believe in god, he only thought positive and made his problems go away, made his brain think the opposite of what the doctors have.

Example:

One man, who lived his whole life fairly, prayed to the God everyday, his family loved him, he had a nice job etc.
gets cancer. If he stays strong and if he continues to pray everyday, he will "defeat" the illness he haves.
But if he stops to pray if he starts thinking negative about his life, the illness will defeat him.
