what did you wrote down at step 2? was it like 1.NVIDIA GeForce[type], or more like 2.ATI Radeon [Type]
if 1 click on the link to the NVIDIA website , if 2 click on the link to ati and download the driver that matches your card.
install like you would install a normal program and youre done ;)
