I know many are keen on joining events but simply are not close enough to a hitman to be killed etc. Not sure how things currently work with the timer but perhaps the timer could then be frozen during that time spent in the event.I think it is an unnecessary complexity to be added. If someone is in hitman skin, they may want to play according to the skill and intend to take the hit. Say that you are a wanted in LV that got auto-hit by a business/other player, and I spawn Hitman to go chase for that player. All of a sudden, an event is launched and the player that was /hit'd wants to join, but you don't. If we have that range implemented, the player would be able to join and now the hitman cannot play like his class was supposed to - something that would be fairly bad.

In the same situation, if the hitman wanted to join the event too, they can simply switch skin and join as a civilian. Thus, with the thing that Immo mentioned that we tested was implemented, you get the best of both worlds - allowing all players to play how they want to play.
