I also find these annoying, but for a server which has been solely maintained by donations all this time, this is something we all should have seen coming.
Unless you can think about a form of income for it other than the owner's personal money I think this has been a good choice.

If it's really putting you off, download adblocker.

If you want it to be removed, Donate $ 10.000 to Energ every month.

I dont even have an adblocker and no ads appear around o.O lolwut
