Reasons other than cheating should be considered. It should be up to that admin or a committee should be formed. If the player gets the majority vote, he/she shall be unbanned

If we don't ban for ban evasion, what does it show? - It shows that in a sense you can't be banned because you can keep coming back and creating a new account.. At the end of the day, what would be the point of banning them in the first place if they're just allowed to return?

If you've cheated it means you don't want to play on a level field, you want the advantage, you don't care about those around you. Why should I care if you made a new account and are now playing "clean" - You cheated in the first place.

Almost EVERY other case gets reviewed. If you were banned for a week and you evaded and also got caught the chances are that you either made it very obvious or got very unlucky, either way, you should have just respected your ban in the first place.

You're suggesting that we should allow ban evasion to happen if they're behaving well? - Laughable.. It doesn't teach anyone a lesson when they know they can easily create a new account and in response to the fact that John said he's worked in a "much bigger community" - It's easier to allow ban evasion to slide in a bigger community because there's a bigger player base, it wouldn't have been a surprise if the majority of the player base were in fact evading bans. - Once a cheater, always a cheater.

It's common sense not to cheat, it's so obvious. You don't stumble across some cheats and actually find them acceptable to use, if they were, everyone would have the same advantage. The rules even explicitly state that you're not allowed to cheat (even though it's OBVIOUS) yet people don't bother paying attention to our rules? - Why should we pay attention to their unban application?

It's impossible to "watch" a ban evader for a month let alone like 30 minutes, it's not going to show anything. Nobody wants to watch numerous people play the game for a month or two, we don't have unlimited time. Especially as there's people banned left right and centre, If this passed and they were made aware that they can get away with ban evasion if they "behave" it would force us to watch loads of players, no thanks.

As a new player you must remember that you're coming into OUR community which is governed by OUR rules, the majority of you are more than capable of following them, it's just the odd few that aren't capable.

Just to add something,

Well, I saw newbies banned for like 2-3 days (temporarily ban) and they ban evaded without knowing that ban evading is forbidden and/or they didn't knew that they got banned temporarily. I think they should be unbanned, just give them a chance guys.

Why should we unban people for evasion or hacking? People play on Lsrcr for roleplay and to see friends. We are known in the community that we do not allow hackers and they will be punished without regret and it should stay like that. If we start being easier on people others will think they can get away with it and carry on. I would rather play on a server with less players who don't hack rather than a server full of hackers. When people are banned for evasion they have already broke a rule / hacked hence ban. If they ban evade then they clearly know what they are doing and shouldn't be allowed back. Players should be allowed to play in a hacker free server without interruption and I would keep it as it is, I wouldn't regret banning someone for evading or hacking either. They deserve to be banned.
