If all else fails you can take the hard drive out and put it in another computer, then take everything off of it and move it to a big enough flashdrive/external hard drive.

Same happened to my old computer HDD. What i found is if you take it out and plug it into another computer you can format it and it usually works again.

I'll be taking apart the laptop later today hopefully. if I have the time. and looking at the HDD.

hitting the power button does nothing screen doesn't light up cpu/HDD lights in front to show its actively doing something doesn't light up. only power button stays lit and I can hear the vaint buzzing of a HDD. also my laptop fans don't kick on either. so Idk maybe it just bit the dust. I bought it used about 1.5 yr ago.

Im not at all worried about playing samp again it's the files I had stored on there for my 3DS backups / my nands for xbox360 / WiiU kernel exploit files all setup etc etc.... all are gone /cry....

I just like how my PC didn't give one warning sign of a problem. one hard reset sent my pc to the grave. never have I before had this happen to any pc / electronic I've ever owned -_-
