+1 the escape command is useless. if you give the option a lot earlier then there's a good chance it'll get used more, but in my opinion it should vary depending on how long you have to wait. So say you're in there for 5-15 minutes you should be able to get the option after 2 minutes have passed and so on Since it's not always going to work and has the ability to fail.

When I was taking you to Angel Pine (drag challenge), you broke cuffs at least 5 times in a row and 12-13 times in general xd
