It would help the admins. I mean kicking a hacker is supporting the community for those who play fairly.
Oh please, what are you leaving for moderators then? Sorry for the harsh words but people are recently suggesting many things for supporters which are actually the moderators job.
If seniors think supporters need this command they would've added it before.
It's a votekick, not a single handed ban. Moderators operate alone, and if you look at the list right now, there aren't many moderators. Even if all of them come online at different times for 4 hours each, that leaves a 12 hour window. Admit it, there are a couple of hours each day when Administrators aren't online. That is why giving very minute powers to Community Supporters will definitely prove to be beneficial in the long run. They can't even ban, just kick + they require 80% of the majority for it to function. I agree how this should be done for the moderators, but looking at the fact that there are just 3 at the moment, I don't believe any function for such a group would be possible.[/quote]
You don't expect mods and admins to be robots to make you happy like a cutie 24/7, it has been always like that and you never complained before, why now? Admins ban hackers sooner or later, supporters are called supporters because they support admins and mods with their job, not interfering in it, supporters from my opinion are nothing special than people helping with two special commands ( which made the tag worthless tbh) and it shouldn't be more of that.
When we hit our lowest point we are open to the greatest change.

I never said that I want to be happy like a cutie 24/7. When there's a hacker online, admins ban him within minutes. When the admins aren't online, he can wreak havoc for as long as he wishes to. The chain of command is obviously Admins - Mods - Supporters

That is why when the first isn't available, power falls to the second. What I wish to add is that when the Mods aren't online, Supporters have the basic command, one that can help the server get rid of the cheater(s). It's not even a ban, + the fact that the supporters are chosen carefully and face consequences if they abuse it, I don't see why anyone would even think about it.

I understand how it would feel, that Supporters would get a lot of power, but if you think about it, 80% of votes from supporters online + the fact its just a kick ensures that the gameplay is always hacker-free, even when the Staff Team isn't on.

This, I thought supporters came to answer questions, how are they certain wether someone is using hacks if they don't got the abilities to spectate remove soms healfh or w/e to get edvidence that the player is even using hacks.

I think it would work like this:
Supporter1 gets arrested by a player with 1-50 score, Player 1 starts a votekick because he thinks the user had keybinds cuz he got jailed in 3 seconds. Supporters23456789 and 10 just agree with the kick because there is no way at all they would have proof.

In my opinion a kick should be done by only one person otherwise everyone will blame each other for each and every kick made in the server except official staff kicks.

I hope you see my point here.

Excuse me? Chain of command shouldn't contain supporters, for your knowledge big guy, supporters are nothing special, it's just a formal way to represent and help the community ( which was the tagged members responsibility) supporters are not better than anyone in this community, adding more power to the supporters makes an unbalance in the real command chain, my vote is no and it will stay the way it is

Alright, it makes sense. But what when there is an obvious hacker who, for example, just tp-s everywhere and goes on a rampage spawnkilling everyone?

This is a GAMING community, there are no games without hackers, if you aren't a gamer I don't find a reason of why are you here then, shit happens I game and In life. That's reality.

For the record: Onzie himself stated that supporters are nothing special.

@notan: For the 2nd time saying it to clarify it to everyone think supporters is a rank above regular players " supporters got applications which can be accepted or denied" " mods and admins are chosen without any apps" clearly proves it.
When we hit our lowest point we are open to the greatest change.

Supports should not have any special powers, according to Onzie.
Furthermore, they have no executive power over other players whatsoever.
