Injections are more expensive due to the fact that you're getting them from a hospital so inturn the price is going to be high, drugs are cheap because of the simple fact that they aren't taxed so the seller can sell them for any price he wants and still make a nice little profit.
Besides 1000$ isn't a lot of money considering cops get a lot of money and can get that money by doing virtually nothing, where as the criminal has to put himself out there and get wanted for that cash on top of that his attempt can fail which makes that payment not guaranteed.
Honestly I like how things are so -1

I agree with Indognito, what he said makes sense and that is why Injections are more expensive than Drugs.
