Not sure if you know but if you cuff a civilian now, you have 30 seconds to search him (get him wanted) or he'll get auto uncuff.

So yeah, feel free to cuff them if they really annoy you or try to destroy your vehicle.
Have a drink, get buzzed, chill and enjoy.

So when did this happen?

As far as I know, the S.W.A.T. cuffs do not get auto-removed, unless the cuffed person breaks them, or someone removes them.

Don't know, but I've noticed this couple of days ago, when you cuff innocent player it says you've 30 seconds to search or he'll get auto uncuff.

I've tested out the new cuff system which was not announced yet.

If you cuff innocent player, it will implement a normal cuff to the suspect (30 seconds to search/get the player wanted level).

If the suspect didn't get wanted level or he turned wanted (despite the level yellow/orange/red/mw), he'll get auto uncuff after 30 seconds from being cuffed.

just tested it too and ye there's auto uncuff ..
