Just a follow up on this: it is confirmed by prison staff that prisoners are processed in jail before going to prison.

Since we delivered to a prison on my trucking adventures I decided to ask, they told me that and I feel I should tell you just for further proof that this don't make sense.

You got me more interested in prison and how stuff works. I was asking the guy so many questions but the only bit of info needed was what I stated cause the rest isn't important to this suggestion. (It was mainly how prison works and such)

You got me more interested in prison and how stuff works. I was asking the guy so many questions but the only bit of info needed was what I stated cause the rest isn't important to this suggestion. (It was mainly how prison works and such)

You needed to confirm that with prison staff? You need to be sentenced to go to prison, if you've done something bad they might keep you in a lock up until you get one but I thought most people know you need to go to court before prison (unless you're there temporarily for some reason - which can happen where I live but usually only with violence or grand theft).

I don't think this suggestion is too realistic and it had been suggested before and was rejected (in the swat section).
