Exactly! Your hundred percent damn right! Make a forum account if you wish to go through server updates and announcements! Don't have this implemented, it takes time anyways.

We don't really think that's needed. Players can simply check the forums, and those who care about the server/updates always have a forum account.

Suggestion has been dismissed.
