If this was possible, the only way you'd be able to fix the vehicle would be if you were outside as you can't change a tire when in the car?

I'm not sure if you've thought of that. Also don't think you should be able to do this whilst moving.

There should also be a timer to change it, such as 5 seconds to change the tire or something?

Just to make it less OP if we were to implement this?
The same is with /fix command then. If you talk about reality then car is also fixed by outside. And you said "whilst moving" Currently /fix command can be used while moving. So it should be same for both. It's shouldn't be like we think 1 realistic and other unrealistic.
Personally, I think the whole /fix command could be changed and would make it more interesting in terms of cophunts / police chases.

Not quite sure about that.

Perhaps it would be a great idea to make some changes aswell how fixing a car works? Possibly a mechanic would have to step out of the car and stay next to it to fix it which makes it more role-playish aswell?

Would need more opinions for that if possible.

NO
come on the only class i like is mechanic class dont ruin the fun making it like stepping out makes sense but if thats the case swats should also be using their tire fixing cmd similarly also vehicles dont receive damage when there is no driver let it be the way it is, if any changes made the fun that we get in mech class will be lost specialy during car cop hunts.

That was just an idea, if you guys have any suggestions feel free to voice yourselves.

Perhaps it might even stay the way it is, it needs to be discussed nonetheless and we need a fairly good amount of community feedback.

Definitely a no, I'd just advise to remove cophunting if this anyhow gets implemented :)

It is good as it is now and if we were to begin with changing things to roleplayish then ar command must be dealt with at first priority

I didn't mention any changes needed in /fix id command, the suggestion was about the tire fix addition
In case someone loses only a tire and still having a good car hp, he gets his tire fixed by any nearby mechanic

We would like more opinions on this if possible since it looks like a few are against it.
