If you read and do some research on the book, you'd get to know that the whole Qur'an is mathematically coded. Just take an example. The center of the earth is hot iron which was obviously not known 1400 years ago. Science got to know this 20-30 years back. Now look at this coding. There are 114 chapters in the Qur'an. What's the half of 114 or the center of the Qur'an? 57 which is Chapter 57 and the name of Chapter 57 is Surah Hadid which means Iron. Is it a coincidence?

Another mathematical coding is the orbit of the moon. The word “Qamar” referred to as a heavenly body in the Qur’an and meaning “Moon” appears 27 times. The elliptical orbit of the Moon around the Earth also takes 27 days. But this is not a number that someone looking from Earth could determine. Because since there is a 29-day between full moons, it used to be thought it took the Moon 29 days to travel around the Earth. The fact is, however, that as the Moon revolves around the Earth, the Earth is also travelling round the Sun. Because of the movement of the Earth, the Moon completes its orbit with a 2-day delay. This is another reference in the Qur’an consistent with modern astronomical findings.

Number of times the word "Moon" appears in the Qur’an = 27
Time it takes the Moon to travel round the Earth (in days) = 27

Is it a coincidence too?

These are just minor miracles. There are thousands of in the Qur'an.

Yes both are co-incidences. Now by reading Quran, you say that all heavenly bodies are revolving in orbits because you know they are. But think of the ordinary people back in the days. If someone from the 12th or 13th century were to read it, they'd have thought that the sun and the moon are orbiting the earth. If the author is as perfect as you say, he should've made it more clear for everyone at every time to understand it.

We're not trying to convert anyone. We're just proving to them that Gods and religions aren't real and that their claims are false. But it's up to them whether to believe it or not.

No, I don't believe there is a God. Pretty much all what Oggy said in his first post of this topic. But i'm fine with people having a Religion, as long as they don't shove it in my face.

Alright, after about 30 minutes of reading this topic I'd like to shed some light on some points regarding 2 recurring topics that picked my attention.

1st up: The Qu'ran says Earth is flat. No it does not. The only accurate and plausible evidence to that is when someone ( am really sorry the topic is long and I am too lazy to quote xD) said how the Qu'ran talked about the orbits of the sun, moon, and planets but not the orbit of the Earth. I am glad that you picked that idea up but from my point of view it is incorrect for the following reason: the big bang is mentioned in the Qu'ran. I am not an astronomer or anything but I don't believe the big bang could have created a flat piece of land suitable for living. If you think my point of view is not backed up by enough evidence then yours as well is not as the Qu'ran did not directly say the Earth is flat.

2nd point is the incredibly recurring theme of how God came to be. The simple answer is that he did not. Not everything has a start and an end. You see, God is an omnipotent being, the lord and creator of everything. So he cannot possibly only exist in the 3rd dimension. Now, many believe that time is another seperate dimension, so God must rule over that as well. Time is what defines a thing's start and end, so God can't be possibly be affected by time, hence goes that theme of how God came to be, he simply didn't.

1. Yes we will find out what happenes before the Big Bang as we keep building telescopes that can look deeper and deeper into the space, which is like looking back in time.

2. Look around you. Every organisms you see around you are your proofs. Go to a museum and look at the fossils. Look how they changed with time to adapt to the conditions back then.

3. These organs came to existance when they were needed and when they're no longer needed, their size got reduced and became functionless.
