New forum section - Approved

I, personally, don't see this as being useful to us. I don't understand why SWAT members would need their own private section and forum group. The Donators group gets the same privilege and their section is ancient and untouched. So, I don't see a point in having Glen put time and effort into something that I think will be no more than useless to us.

I think it will be active when it is going to be created but it will slowly become inactive over time. I think we only really need a sub-forum in the Resources section for our tactics and such if we do create tactics.

But even then, SWAT members come and go so often that these "super secret" tactics that are shared in that forum will be leaked within a couple of days. If you want to share your tactics, make a video about it. A private forum section is just not necessary.

Never said the sub-forum should be private, I think it should be open for everybody because as you said, they will be leaked almost instantly.

Well I say +1, but with a suggestion.

The suggestion is (if that forum is going to be private, then) : Rights to that forum should only be given to some members who are loyal and trust-able. Then no info will be leaked out as no one will leak it.

Well by reading all these comments, I thought their would be some kind of info related to Swat..... If this forums is gona be like only for videos and stuff then why making it private ? I thought its something highly professional and private.

I suggested this so it could be some kind of private training forum where we could share useful information, and I don't really see how that could not benefit you. It would make things better, and things would pretty much stay the same but members could find useful tactics and guides.. Ones even I have wanted to create but I really don't want everyone to see it (not that it's something so special, but I would feel like an idiot posting it anywhere else).

I think we should simply have a sub-forum which is open for everybody for some neat tactics because I'd feel rather stupid posting some tactics in the discussion forums or something, the sub-forum will be locked and only a certain Captain / the Commanders will be able to access it and in order to get your Tactic in that forum you will have to send a PM or make a topic about it in the suggestion using a certain format for the tactic or w/e.
