Moved this to the correct forum once again as it was in the database.

Do you guys still find this a problem? Not sure as to why this is a problem for everyone - the login seems fine for me although I sometimes miss it when going to get something from across the room, but that's not a problem that the server caused.

Anyways, I'll leave this open for a while before deciding what to do with this suggestion.

My opinion still stands on this one. The only times I'd have issues is when the computer I was using would not register me typing the password down and hitting submit in time so I'd have to retype it five or six times but that's was the actual computers fault. now if you have a slow computer then all you need to do is clean out the memory, from what I remember that'll help out tremendously. If that doesn't work then the computers components need to be updated (as in replaced)

Problem isn't even the hardware most of the time. It's the lag. I have 300+ ping all the time and because of that the dialog box takes time to pop up, to register the password and all that. That's why I too feel that 30s is a bit less for laggers like me living in the Asian continent. 1m seems fine for me.

I see that makes sense, some wifi/internet providers are just complete shit so it would a affect the lag/ping. Although I still kinda like the 30 second timer because it does keep the account safer then most other game servers though. But I get it.

I'm in the middle because I don't know exactly how my internet handled SAMP due to my computer having many hardware issues that effected rendering and performance. (Like sometimes it would get so bad that occasionally the ground wouldn't load so ill be doing a stunt yo get away from police and fall though the floor.) On the menu screen it sometimes took longer to render the background then to actually get my pass in. I doubt others will have this same issue but I kinda don't want to leave them out when thinking about my vote.

(Also I know there are a lot of paki jokes revolving around slow internet which end up being sorta true)

So I guess I'll stay the same as before

If the Server doesn't get a signal from you for 10 seconds (lost connection), you'll time out.
So 30 seconds would be enough.
