@Dimitrije: try removing and avoid those Facebook apps like Messenger and FB app (FB lite is safe) and see the difference. Snapchat is badly designed/coded on Android and it stutters on many devices (even on 2015 high-end phones when compared to iPhone 6 and above) and overheats too. 1GB RAM in Android is hell enough for average smartphone user.

P.S. Yeah, I agree Lollipop underperforms because of the memory-leak issues in it. It's not that Lollipop requires more RAM to run smoothly, it is because of unoptimized OS that Google released.
