Rally, you overthink too much.Moderators or trial mods are active indeed but they don't have the ban ability and this is for a reason. The need to prove themselves so they are capable of holding a higher position than the current one.Yes you could say they've been trusted enough to be a staffer but if that was the case rank 4 or full time administrator rank would be mostly useless.Just stop overthiking stuff. We always have discord to alert admins

Problem #1: Denying Benefits of Donating
Yes, donating is king nowadays. The fact that I was able to play for as long as I did shows that I was given more chances than I should've been given. There's numerous examples that I touched upon on the other topic, as well as new ones. Robin, Ackman, Nightmare, Zeo (who should've been banned sooner than he was and skip out on the whole "prove that he is your brother" conspiracy) and others. Donators do get privileges, and it is meant to be that way else no one would donate. Say what you wish, but a "fair/equal" server will always be self subsistent; in simple terms, a server like that wouldn't need of donations to keep it alive.

The reality is different, lsrcr needs donations. That is cool and everyone understands that. What pisses me, and I think other people, off is that there is not a straight forward approach between communication of the two sides. What do I mean by this? Simple, people actually in charge (and ill get to this below) should not even post something, but at least admit that donators do get more chances than others.

I mean I was only unbanned after +100 evasions cause I had donated in the past and I was thought to donate in the future (which was a right choice since I donated $80 more). Anyways, that's the end of that. It's not the method that you chose for the server to keep alive, is for you to be transparent about it.
Granted maybe staff needs to be more clear about this issue. Feedback is always appreciated.

Yes, this one is linked to #1 but it deserves its own section. I mean really, already taking us for stupid by denying the benefits of donating while there's a "1 day wonder" administrator that got tag and staff rights in a tiny amount of time. Then, after some controversy, he decides to have a name change. Like do you see us as stupid as not to be able to realize that you are just trying to evade the whole awkwardness of the situation by a name change?

However, people say that he has been active and has done well, which is obviously not a problem. The problem again is TRANSPARENCY, instead of having numerous topics beat around the bush have one topic that basically stated the following: "Yes, CarlosJ got tag and admin in a short amount of time. He's donated a lot and helped the server alive, and he looks somewhat mature so we'll give him a shot." There was a topic like that from Energ way after the outrage was sparked, but that shows how you could've just done that prior to promoting him to avoid people getting upset. We are not as stupid as you may want us to be, it was really obvious that it was a money thing, else any of the other moderators would've been promoted as well.
Ah the CarlosJ situation. Why is everyone bothered that he is an administrator? He donated because he wanted to. He didn't ask or force Energ to make him an administrator. Energ found him a great addition to the staff team because Carlos was there when the community needed him.

I never donated to lsrcr myself. I was a huge rulebreaker back in the day and i can't tell you how much i got jailed and warned. I decided that I should take a break and came back when I was ready to play by the rules. I returned around June 2012 and played the game. I got denied from the tag twice because players still didn't believe I changed. No big deal, I kept trying and got it eventually. It was around the fall of November when I got a PM from Energ if I wanted to be a moderator. I didn't even believe he actually wanted me to be a part of the staff team considering my past actions.

I accepted his offer to become a moderator and from that moment players started to rant.
"WTF ISNT THIS THE HARU DMER GUY???"
"WHO EVEN IS THIS GUY"
"LOL WHAT A JOKE LSRCR BECOME"

Now in 2017 - We have a guy that poured his own money to keep your asses playing in the server and players still rant that he didn't deserve it. Be grateful that there's another person out there that cares so much about a game that now is over 10 years old that is willing to help out other administrators in banning, hosting events and helping players out.

This is a personal one and I just feel bad for the lower ranks of the staff team. You are 24/7 playing, getting crappy recordings of cheaters and whatnot without even being able to actually ban them or whatever. You are moderators, and pretty much useless besides events.

Then come administrators. Administrators use moderators in the way that they handle shit that they do not want to handle. They can ban players and whatnot and they discuss things between themselves but can mostly act according to what they believe in. These players come on eventually, and most of the time it is to show themselves as active rather than anything else.

Then come the higher ups. They essentially use all of us in the way that they don't even play the game anymore. Shit needs to be taken care of? I'll have one of my samp peasants to take care of it. It is all a side effect of having differences in ranks among the staff.
It's true that seniors aren't active as much as level 4 administrators but that doesn't mean they are lazy or they don't care. I never was a senior admin myself but I can imagine the PM spam they get and most of them can be solved by a moderator or an admin.

Let's say a senior admin comes online and gets spammed by the questions that normally I get spammed with.
"Wb _____"
"Hey _____ can I talk to you?"
"Hello _____" I found a bug"
"check my report on forum please"
" wtf id 27 dm me do something"
"check id 12 i think he has health hacks"
" Hi ____ can you spawn me a sultan for army test pls"
"gimme packet pls sir"
"read my support ticket pls"
"how do i rob a shop"
"how to buy house"
"where to buy a car"

All the questions can be answered or solved by an admin or a moderator except the bold one. Usually serious bugs are reported to seniors since they have full server access.

If you're assuming that seniors and administrators dump problems and players that they don't feel like helping you're wrong. One needs to be in our position to know how staff works.

Hope I was clear enough,i'm not good with long replies :)

Oh look another one.

With the topic about moderators being useless, they actually have more cmds than regular level 4 admins (once promoted you gain a few more cmds).

The reason moderators exist is to try them out an ensure that they ready for being an administrator.

As staff I don't feel we should or need to discuss anything with regular players at all, and that thing about energ allowing "pay 2 staff" who are you to comment on that?

At the end of the day, this is Energs sever and he owns it.

I'd address all the points but why should I? Arrogance and players trying to cause feuds with staff members and the staff team hurt everyone but clearly regular players miss this point.

If you wish to ask anything please go ahead. We're more than happy to answer questions.

As you keep stating "I have questions" and then you specifically call out staff members, that's where your topics will get locked.

// Mobile sorry for grammatical mistakes.

Nop, donors and non donors are equal. I haven't been benifit anyway. i'm unbanned because my mistakes werent much heavy.

"Bitching w/ swat tema & heliblading em constantly, report hunting" in all = 14 days
"Insulting Senior Administrator" [1 month]
"G abuse" [5 Days]
"Provoking [PERM]*
"False accusation" [2 Days]

These bans werent enough to permanent ban me, if a non donor was doing this he would also not be perm ban for these

Yes, i got perm ban once for provoking but got reduced ;)

literally have a tldr as the first thing in the post but oh well.

Shaco, if you read carefully, I say that the issue with the whole CarlosJ situation was transparency. According to players he has been doing more work than some other admins, which is obviously good, but even the whole name change is an insult.

Skills, moderators are used, and to some extent so are you (although u moved a bit further up in the foodchain) they are useless indeed, what's the use of more commands if they have to record and report a cheater like a regular player does?

As far as the " I dont think we should didcuss anything with regular players at all" I'd simply like to say that this is why things are at this stage. I can't speak about the entire staff cause it just looks like a cry you and others may have but to those who have this opinion: be humble. Regular players are the reason this server was ever a thing. It is this kind of arrogance that leads to shitholes like the one the server is currently in, bending over for money. Look at the past events, see how there was still this arrogance towards the regular player, and then think "it is crazy to keep acting the same way and expecting a different outcome"

And ackman, you were obviously benefited so don't take anyone for stupid lol. Your insults to cxdur on the forums, your constant flaming, bithing against swat, etc. would have definitely had a regular non donating player banned long ago.

What makes me sad is to see that mods/admins in this forum are like "I don't care, I don't have the time to read", well then don't post here if you don't want to answer or read it. Also "Oh another one" what the hell is that? If you show a negative attitude, don't expect the members to take the staffs serious.

Also I'm glad to see that Shaco atleast answered them nicely, and even in a good way. I could not have explained it better myself. So good job :D
