How is it possible to endure pain when your nervous system has shutdown along with your brain thus no link between nerves and information to the brain can occur and therefore pain cannot be transmitted..?

A soul is the incorporeal essence of a person or living thing or object, and therefore has no attachment to the body nor can pain be inflicted because it has no nerves. Once again the nervous system has shut down, even if it did have nerves, pain could still not be felt as the information cannot reach the dead brain.
