The issue isnt numbers. The issue isnt cuff range. The issue is abuse.

Cops who G in and out of cars to avoid damage while pretyping IDs
Cops who can arrest 4-5 members of a cophunt while avoiding dying by lag
Cops who just heliblade you for fun
Cops who shoot the hell out of you/your car from half a map away
Cops who can snipe you 3 times while not even in your render distance (This is a hack, but staff probably don't know it)
Cops who can arrest you so fast auto /bc from VIP packet doesn't work
Cops who randomly cuff and search you 5 times for no fucking reason outside of pissing you off.

The real reason we want cops nerfed, is because the cops play like pricks.

Criminals who G in and out of cars to avoid damage and type /sh and takedrugs and also to avoid dying
Criminals who can kill 4-5 leos due to lag
Criminals who just heliblade you for fun
Criminals who shoot the hell out of you/your car from half a map away
Criminals who can snipe you 3 times while not even in your render distance (is not a hack)
Criminals who can kill you even after you /taze them but they are not affected by the tazer gun and kill you while moonwalking despite being tazed
Criminals who start shooting at you, ram you even when you didn't even attack them once

(It's impossible to /ar before auto /bc, even if you use a keybinder, it's not possible, I think what you are referring to is, that you automatically try to /bc, but it fails to break the cuffs, but still, you can't arrest someone before automatically trying to /bc if you have a VIP packet)

I don't know why you mentioned any of those things because everything you mentioned applies to all the criminals too.

I'll see if I kept the video, but at one point I DID have a cop get me so fast the auto /bc didnt have time to trigger (it literally said "cannot use command in jail) but also he was banned for keybinding a while back too.

And yes, I know criminals can play like pricks too. You forget yourself on your high up SWAT leader pedestal, and fail to remember I have a police officer alt who has to suffer all of what you said and then even more because low score and such. You also forgot

The pricks on mountain bikes who hop around everywhere
Criminals who run up, use /rape 4 times then blast you in the back so they can rob your corpse
The ones who run into the checkpoint to prevent you getting score
The CONSTANT stream of being DMed by fellow cops
Mother fuckers who run into their gang bases where you can't follow
The ones who get wanted and sit by the lspd gate shooting into the safe zone with a bike
Other cops who arrest people you cuff
The fact that it's very rare for cops to help each other. Trust me, I've tried to work as a team, but often I get ignored (because low score and such, no one will partner with a nobody)

Back to my original point, since you missed it, is that while people keep saying "nerf cops" because ya know, cafe kids who parrot each other and don't know english, what we REALLY want is "new rules with staff enforcement to prevent these new forms of abuse".

Is extrazoom.cs, which lets you shoot people with a sniper when they can't even load you on their screen (I've tested it somewhere else, I was hitting people in Angel Pine from the top of Mt Chilliad) allowed? It's not like being able to see someone who can't see you because you put it in a mod and they are vanilla is an unfair advantage right? Yeah don't bother, I pointed it out to staff before and they confirmed it IS an illegal mod. Seriously, I have no idea why you always come at me thinking you're going to prove some big point just to get torn down.

You can not nerf cops just because of "cafe kids". As far as your "alt account" goes, it has 17 arrests and total 11h playtime. Sure you got a lot of experience playing as a LEO. Please stop trying to cause a fight here yes? This is not a criminal v/s leo topic, we shouldn't compare these two, rather we should come to some conclusion on how to do something that will bring some balance without nerfing leos anymore.

Limiting the police class would definitely not help the unbalanced situation we have had for a long time already imho. Like coolguy said, if some new player loses his place in cop skin and the limit gets hit again, he/she would be frustrated about that and just leave our server to go and find a different (better) CnR server.

The main problem is cophunting seeming to be the main aspect for most of the people on the server, even though this is a Cops and ROBBERS server. We can not change this however since it's a personal preference.

Even if the civillians started robbing shops, they'll be arrested easily in bit time, maybe its can be fair enough by making a limit for both, robbers and cops at the same time. I'm not sure.

The only solution is to limit the cops' spawn and i repeat it won't be fair for the criminals still.
Do you know why ?
As the limitation will be only depending on the players' count.
Not the criminals' count.
They will still OP and out numbered.
But it's the best solution for this situation, Is to limit the cops' spawn.
If player's count = 100 , Limit the cops spawn to 50 (40 if both factions included).
If player's count = 80 , Limit the cops spawn to 40 (30 if both factions included).
If player's count = 60 , Limit the cops spawn to 30 (20 if both factions included).
If player's count = 40 , Limit the cops spawn to 20 (15 if both factions included).
That's how to make it fair, And it's not nerfing CALL IT WHAT YOU CALL IT, It's not nerfing.

I'm not saying it's more frustrating, I'm saying that a new player would be more likely to leave and find a new server, which will hit our player count long-term. There are absolutely far more better solutions that can be discussed instead of a limitation for the police class. If I remember correctly there was a similar suggestion and it was left stale or either denied.

By restricting leos, you mean to stop them from doing all those things you mentioned? That will be no help at all and there will still be overwhelming number of leos, even if they use all this or not, when they are so many against less criminals, they will easily arrest you without doing any of those things. But it's a good idea to restrict everyone from doing some of those things.

See, now we're getting somewhere.

And yes, do not mean cops specifically. Criminals are just as guilty of abusing these things. Running in and out of doors, using g to avoid damage while typing things, mountain biking everywhere, random searches, rapes, and so on, randomly shooting pagati because you have a hit when pagati is doing airdrops or RP, I mean I could go on and on. But no, it's not just cops I have a problem with, it's criminals too. And the number of cops isn't the real issue, it;s how they play. In a fair fight, with no one doing that crap, the fighting would be far better. And yes, criminals would have a slight advantage in a 1v1, but it's almost never a 1v1 so the advantage isn't there outside of cophunts. And I personally don't like cophunts unless it;s being done because of cops abusing things. Cophunting isnt a CNR thing. I think the only time 4+ people should be shooting at cops is if it's a robbery team doing actual robberies. Having numbers while robbing is good, but having numbers just to hunt cops is bad.
