You're here talking about how important it is for active community to be fair for everyone. The idea is that every player should be treated equally, no matter how they are. everyone should be able to enjoy the game without feeling left out, disrespected, or mistreated. NO WORRIES, The server already have clear rules that are followed by everyone to stop doing shits... having active administrators who make sure things are going straight is also playing an important role.... in a short, players who have tags doesn't mean in any way that it is unfair compared to others, we all knew that u must have a good reputation, generally experienced and familiar enough with the server rules to hold the tag. I DONT see any unfairness in this.

It’s also pointed out that players who have tags shouldn’t feel like they’re too important to help others? just because someone is holding the tag doesn't mean they shouldn’t answer simple questions or help newcomers? does it take much to show respect and assist others?

The lsrcr tag helped players feel like they were part of a team. It encouraged those with the tag to be more helpful, which made the server feel more welcoming. We need that sense of community back.
even though the suggestion has been made more than once, the need for a way to spot helpful players is still important. The lsrcr tag would fit well with the server and help improve the experience for both old and new players.

In the end, the goal is for the community to be a place where everyone feels welcomed and supported. I don't see any downsides to this bcs it makes the game more enjoyable for everyone and builds a stronger, friendlier community. everyone should treat each other with kindness and respect to make the game better for everyone...

note: funny how players have so much to say about me behind my back when they clearly don’t have enough going on their own business, keep my name out of your conversations. I dont wanna mention anyone but I just want to clear the air. If there's an issue, I'm open to talking about it like adults. Otherwise, I prefer people that focus on their own shits instead of spreading negativity and I’d rather not engage in that energy. What a silliness!

Another thing people forget is the tag was not just about help. It gave players something to work towards. You would see someone with Lsrcr in their name and think I want to be that helpful too. It motivated people to learn the rules properly and be active in the community. Now new players join, see no structure, and either leave or become part of the problem. The tag was not perfect but it gave the server an identity. Right now we are just another random server where anyone can pretend to be helpful then troll newcomers. At least with the tag you knew who actually cared about the server's reputation. Those saying just ask anyone for help clearly do not remember how many new players get laughed at or given wrong answers. The tag was quality control, not perfect but way better than nothing.

It seems like in the past, players who had the tag were more cautious and followed the rules because they didn’t want to lose it. They knew breaking the rules had real consequences. But nowadays, it feels like players don’t really care as much about breaking the rules because there’s nothing really stopping them.

I’m writing this down because I forgot to include this point in my previous message. Also, regarding /pmoff, most players used to /pmoff because they were constantly spammed for the rights. But I’m sure that whenever someone genuinely needed help, tagged members were always at the frontline, sorting out their issues or teaching them about the server.

I've always felt that removing the tag wasn't necessary in the first place. It's something that has been a part of LSRCR since the early years and hasn’t caused much harm. In my eyes, it's always nice to reward good community members with some form of ownership in the community, and it gives players something more to grind towards.

For those who claim that tagged players get 'princess treatment,' I personally think the same applies to army and SWAT members. They also get treated nicely, which helps them with things like faction applications. In fact, the same goes for active group members too.

I've been looking over the replies here, and I'm going to add a few points.

Tagged members turn off their PMs: Players who turn their PMs off are often group leaders, faction leaders, or lone wolves who don't want bothered. As Don of Pagati, when I log in it's typical to get 3-5 users repeatedly messaging me asking for temp right. Not only is this annoying, it's against the rules. I could be a total bitch, screenshot every time it's happened, and file a report on it, but that's a waste of my time and staffs time. If you need help, you don't need to PM anyone. You can ask your questions in main chat, or you can go to supporters using /ask. Neither of those require a players PMs to be turned on. And removing the tag has not made players stop turning their PMs off, so the entire argument here is moot.

Tagged members looked down on non-tagged members: Maybe some, but most didn't. If you ever applied for the tag, you know that tagged players all voted on who to give the tag to, and we rarely supported players who were rude to others like that. It's why many players repeatedly got denied a tag. Your attitude was part of the decision on if you could get a tag.

"equal treatment": Please explain to me how the tag was unfair? Everyone who had the tag went through the same process of getting the score, getting the playtime, getting the votes, and so on. Everyone was given the same fair chance to get the tag. Those who worked hard and earned it were given it. Those who were rude, broke rules, and disrespected others didn't get the tag. Nothing about it was unfair, everyone had the same equal chance to get the tag. If you feel like you got denied repeatedly, maybe you should look at your attitude. The person who made this comment was rude here, and incredibly rude in the discord today before they left it. You want to know why you never got tagged, that's why.

Tagged members had more to lose: 100%. Tagged members were held to a higher standard, and a more public one. When a cafe player without the tag breaks a rule, the players generally only know if they are reported on forums or have to file a ban appeal. When a tagged player broke a rule, EVERYONE knew the deal because that tag got ripped away. It was a very public display of disgrace. And the fear of losing the tag kept many players with shady intentions in line because they knew the risks of going too far. Without the tag, many of those players have been caught doing shady shit, and it's less visible now because they aren't being publicly stripped of their tags. The tag kept unhonest assholes honest.

So the tag had more benefits that were not considered when it was taken away. It was more than a sign of a good player who knew the server and was part of the community. It was a sign of hard work, dedication, a good attitude, and it kept players in line because if you broke the rules, you didn't get the tag, and if you did and then broke a rule, it got removed. It kept players following the rules, and without it, the number of rude players breaking rules and insulting others has skyrocketed.

As you all know, tags originally existed, but they caused several issues that led to a global tag removal. Initially, I believed that the senior admins decided on a global tag reset due to reports that tagged members were becoming arrogant, not treating newbies well, and acting superior. However, this did not apply to everyone.

After the tag reset, everyone had to reapply for their tags through a selection process. But it seems that the tag did not have a significant impact on those holding the LSRCR tag, as some still maintained the same arrogant and self-important attitude.

So, if they want the tag back, they should come up with a better way to select tagged members and ensure that favoritism does not happen again.

Okay, let's vote positively on it. If the senior admins approve, then nothing will change regarding the clarity that it should be for staff members, as I mentioned in my first reply. Community members may apply for the supporter role if they are interested in helping newbie players. That's it! ^^

I am neutral - I don’t have anything against introducing the tag, if the majority of the community is positive, I am not going to argue with anyone. The tag doesn’t bother anyone, moreover it indicates an experienced, regular, non-toxic player who is not a typical PH cafe user.
However, the tagged member doesn’t really need to be helpful - it’s supporters’ role - the tag is rather a form of indication for being loyal to the server, but the server can normally exist without any tags - we know if someone has been there for longer or is it a PH gang member.

A NOTE: I don’t understand how people who hardly play on the server, logging in once a year, can disagree with this idea. Hey, I want to say something. Before, when the LSRCR tag was there, the server had more players, and it was more fun. People were more active, and there were always things happening. But when the tag was removed, some of my friends stopped playing because they felt less connected to the server. The tag gave players a sense of belonging and made them feel proud to be part of LSRCR.

I think if the tag comes back, old players might return, and new players will feel more excited to stay. It is not just a name it shows support, and history. The Lsrcr tag is better than just having the supporter role because it brings people together and makes the server feel alive again.

In the past, some tagged members used PM off and acted arrogant, like they were better than others. This made players without the tag feel bad. I hope this doesn’t happen again if the tag returns.

I think this problem happened because some people wanted rights in groups or factions. But still, bringing back the tag is a great idea for the community. It will make the server more active and fun. I really support this suggestion.
