Shooting on the legs does not deal more damange, the opposite actauly. BUT their is a but, legs are more easy to hit, since thats the part where the movement is coming from. And other + at shooting towards the lag is that, if you shoot at their feet at the moment they just want to run the other side, Their is a dead moment, if you hit their feets they will in their screen stand stil. (Not in yours) By this they get out of their focus, and normally miss switches/bad aim/ bad running style will show up soon.
