Original Tear Gas at SA-MP is not like it is at GTA SA. it doesn't have the cough effect. The person who scripted it wanted to add it and he re-made it.

The problem about this is it's going to do a backhand throw, so it won't go that far. I don't think it's worth to add it, it won't fulfill your needs and it won't be as good as you think it would be.

You can script if the person is in the smoke and you can script the animation of the cough or something

or

if it really cannot be like that, it should be for something then, better with the tear gas than without. Just give it a shot, add it.
