I'm still a newb but I do have a few tips for you. Do not spend your gems, not even if the tutorial ask you to speed up the progress by using gems. Do not start attacking other players within 3 days because you start with a free 3 day shield, this means you cannot get attacked for 3 days. Repair the clan castle so you can join the lsrcr clan and request troop :D

I did this but somewhere along the tutorial my gems went from 500 to 250 and I have not a friggin' idea how the hell that happened.

Just 1 thing, upgrade everything to max level before upgrading townhall.

I will keep joining and leaving cause I also got my own clan to handle.
