the topic isn't needed in my opinion, another topic which will be locked.

Energ owns this server, he has the right to do what he wants about it he also explained it to me and to the players in the topic why he chose carlos

whoever says ''everyone'' is mad at carlos being admin i would suggest you to get your facts straight.

lower ranks of staff team a.k.a moderators are supposed to prove that they are worthy for the rank and should answer players, etc yes they are being rekt uploading/taking screens and reporting to admins but that's what it takes to prove yourself worthy for the rank, if that seems to be alot for you then you shouldn't have accepted the rank in the first place.

a topic that could've been put out before, to avoid all the complaining and questions a lot of members had (numerous threads of whining etc), pls read what i actually write, i know it gets hard with more and more replies when even those carry misinterpretations of what I said, but still.

the situation on moderators is just silly, they are useless and if they are to "prove" that they are worthy for the rank by uploading proofs and reporting regularly ***that is something that billions of players do/have done. They are picked for different reasons, and the reason that they are forced to go through the stage of uselessness that is to be a moderator is to prove that they wont have a change of attitude, etc.

In my opinion, they should simply not be accepted as "soon" and just try their attitude experience or whatnot and once they have a good, well informed opinion then they go to administrator.

Legit the only difference between mods and supporters is the rank itself and the ability to freeze players and show them rules, and mute players (i may have forgotten/left out some minor functions but the point still stands)

I know that this topic is not about whining or anything, you have an opinion which you wanted to share, nothing wrong with that.

Getting to the mod point. There's no other way you could prove that this player is worthy but to put him under trial and when he passes it then he becomes a complete mod when in my opinion the importance of this rank has lost some parts with the presence of ''supporters'' but it's still important in training process and proving you are ready to handle dealing with players with your new features/duties whatsoever this is why moderator rank shall always be here unless a senior or above decides to edit the chain of command in the server, but i can't really see any better improvements, i mean like come on back in the day there was like 3 or 4 mod levels, i was here in the server at that time lol.

I've read the whole topic and as far as I can see (I wasn't active for like 6 months but w/e) it looks like things haven't changed a lot from back when I was banned. Judging by the replies in this topic, not a lot of people care about things you write, including some staff members so I'm not sure that it's even worth to post these kind of topics. Not because your points don't stand or because you (in someone's opinion) may have bad intentions, but because people just don't care enough and are apathetic when it comes to things like these. They're not taking the issues (if there are any) seriously, and I'll blame that mostly to the fact that the game is very old by now (12 years). You're part of a small minority that shares this opinion and most probably won't be taken seriously by most of the community. Frankly, I doubt you can change anything in this situation. IIRC staff were more transparent back in 2013 when I was starting out on this server. I'd really like Energ to return full-time (or someone similar at least) cause he's honestly a cool guy who was always friendly and gave me a hand in my beginnings. I really miss admins like these. I'm glad that Shaco, Raskit and a few others are still around. They're one of the few active admins that take regular players seriously when players express themselves in a serious manner and not just dismiss discussions like these when they arise. They actually take time to communicate to the regular player and provide their side of the story. Not like some other admins around here. I'm not talking about like, when one player posts several similar topics consecutively (you, in this case), but in general. There are admins that don't care as much regardless of the player in question.

I just posted one thread, the other one was created by someone else but I still shared points over there. I think its just those that "don't care" are in denial that they are just doing things that others don't want to do and are being plainly used, nothing more, nothing less.

But the main points still stand, and ye people will ignore this/try to go against it because they would want to be in the position that they are in as well, being used for a virtual rank lol

The main problem really boils down to transparency. Like just admit that there's a desperate need for money and that's why things like the attachments (which have started like around 2 months or so if I'm not wrong), and just admit that the case about the admin getting promoted was purely due to his ability to continue to fund the server.

Again, it's not the path that they chose for the server, cause the point of no return has long been passed, but its just denial of it and taking everyone as stupid. With a little bit of self-awareness, they should look back to what has been done in the past and realize that either they change and therefore the outcome of the server (how long it gets to live, or how good people's opinion of it is before it gets shut down) or they just continue down the same path.
