Give criminals some chance to stay alive for longer without getting jailed. I don't agree with this. Network, play as criminal for some time and you'll see how hard it is to survive without getting arrested.
I wasn't really making this suggestion for the sake of me or because I have troubled with this but for the sake of others, newer players who might find themselves in such situations where it's not too much of a chance or anything to do for them. I mean, yes, I cannot do pretty much anything when I get shocked by the player I handcuffed, and I don't find it quite "fair" that he's in position to have same abilities when he's handcuffed, where on the other hand I troubled myself to have this player handcuffed. I don't mind being shocked by the player I handcuffed, not at all, but when this happens around other criminals who shoot you down doesn't make any sense to me since it's impossible to counter play that.

It's quite difficult to survive, okay, I don't mind if this doesn't get a change but I made this thread to see what others feel about this and it's up to staff team members to decide whether this gets in any way polished or not.

As we're currently discussing, I'd like to mention another kind of overpowered feature. It's repairing vehicle. Does it make sense that same vehicle can be unlimitedly repaired over and over? I mean, I have never been a mechanic before so I don't know exact cooldowns and their abilities but as far as I got to understand is that same mechanic cannot repair same player's vehicle multiple times within, I don't know how many minutes, but some minutes limit I suppose. This is sort of well made where same mechanic wouldn't be able to spam repairs where then vehicle he's repairing could not ever be destroyed. I still feel it's still too overpowered this way how it's made because different players, mechanics, can repair same vehicle right after someone else. This is usually happening in, what players call "cophunts" where players usually team up in a vehicle and go around hunting and fighting LEO players. This is usually very challenging and pretty much impossible to have such players caught if they let themselves in flee in situations they're outnumbering LEO players and decide to, for example poke them without any loss since they're supplied with unlimited repair which in my opinion is very imbalanced because there's players who are capable of firing up their vehicles multiple times without any use whatsoever due to unlimited repair. I mean, there's a cooldown but considering dozen of mechanics it's pretty much impossible to have vehicles destroyed as I already mentioned before.

I have a suggestion and I know I could have gone creating seperate thread for a suggestion but we're already discussing here so I would like to propose that same player's vehicle cannot be repaired for the second time within a cooldown of, I don't know, i'm just proposing, this can be anything you decide to test it as, 30 seconds which means if a mechanic repairs someone's vehicle, no one else is going to be able to repair this player's vehicle for next thirty seconds because he has recently had his vehicle repaired. There's probably gonna be a lot of negative comments, especially from players who play majority time on criminal side, where there will probably be comments like, how are we gonna continue "cophunting" if we cannot repair our vehicle anymore? Yes, you can repair your vehicle but every certain amount of time as of right now it pretty much looks like an abuse honestly and if this gets any kind of change I believe such players would play in a more cautious, thoughtful style which might be interesting to see. Feel free to comment and express your opinion, thank you!

I think it's fine the way it is now, however if most agree then we could possibly change some stuff a bit. Not now though, re-adjusting things every week is not the right way to go.

I believe it also has to do a lot with skill. If you are fast enough you can both cuff and arrest the player without them being able to react at all (run/shock/attempt to break the cuffs).

We were used to arresting criminals very easily but that should be something hard to do honestly. Cuff range was ridiculously long and rendering any criminal useless after cuffing them was no-sense aswell.

You could possibly initiate a poll for that (whether to remove shocking whilst cuffed or not) but no changes will be made for now. We will all eventually adapt to those changes

Those were just my two cents.

P.S: I haven't read all of the replies here therefore there is a high chance I have missed a couple of good points.

+1 that's what i am talking about there viewtopic.php?f=620&t=95198 but none paid an attention and instead some nerds who play only as criminals went against it

how about you gain some skills instead?
when is criminal arrested he needs to wait 4 minutes to get out, go to 24/7 to buy items/shocks, buy drugs (not necessary) and get weapons, so once you get arrested you need at least 8 minutes to get this stuff and start playing again if you're planning to play criminal. Even if you arent arrested you still need time to restore yourself completely to do cophunt again. But how long does it take a cop to restore after his death? 30 second? 1 minute maximum and you're ready to go. Cop class is already easy, you spawn with taze, criminals dont spawn with shocks. It takes time to play as successful criminal.
People get bored after 2-3 arrests in a row because it takes too long and that's why there is "more crimes pls" saying a lot lately.
So stop suggestions about how to make cop class easier because it's already easy, and start practicing on your skills.

Arresting someone must be hard guys, not an easy thing to do. I think it's completely fine the way it is now, and Devs also are not going to make any changes for now. I think we should all start adapting to the new system and eventually we won't have any issues. If you are fast enough, shocking whilst cuffed does not affect you at all.

Denied for now by Devs. Might change it in the future but we highly doubt it. It's fine the way it is now, arresting someone should be hard enough.
