back to the question: "Is religion a really good thing?"

I would say yes and no.

I could also ask this question: "Is science a good thing?"

I would say yes and no.

It is up to the humans whether they make it a good thing or not, whether it is about science or religion, it's the thoughts that goes through a human brain and the decisions he makes.

Believers can decide to fight for his religion, or peacefully pray....

Humans could use science to create 1000s of more schools so that every kid can go to school, or create 10 aircraft carriers loaded with weapons for war.

You simply can't blame a book like the bible or the Koran for wars, neither u can't blame science.
The only ones to blame is humans, which a lot of them don't take responsibly for their actions.(E.G: They do it in the name of their god...what a lame excuse and very immature.)

So apparently you'd rather believe that you descended from apes.

Aight. This is prolly my first post in this section. By what I've gone through, I haven't been forced to think over my religio. And no it's not what some dumbfucks think that I'm being stubborn or shit. See I don't have doubts in my religion because I've felt Allah help me at all times. Before an exam, I prayed got a 100/100. Didn't even study much. Add maths paper, studies for it like shit, got 85/100. Didn't pray. Got a lot more examples.
Dude..for real do you really think Allah will help u in such a case,or its your own study that helps you,try it out, dont study at all for a exam and pray to Allah, lets see if he will help you get 100/100 (tried didn't work) ...

When atheist ask religious guys why does not your God show up,they say because it will affect the freewill of people, but doesn't he affect the freewill of people when he ''answers" prayers?
Its like a woman that is being raped prays to get out of the situation, but God doesn't help her, because he is too busy helping you with your exams  What kind of sense does that make???
