Alright, it's hilarious seeing all the criminal players being upset at the idea here, it isn't that difficult to balance something like this out and it's actually a good suggestion. The amount of money a criminal can make in the timeframe a LEO makes their 20k paycheck, saying the LEO isn't too hot and doesn't get those high AR bonuses is, way, way much more. Robbing stores are really easy and it gives criminals a big bonus in the amount of money they can get as opposed to someone who regularly plays as a LEO. As well as just simply robbing other people.
Now here's how I see it, and just think realistically here.
A criminal runs up to a cop, say the cop has like 100k on him and the criminal just robs 50k of the money, now the cop instantly tazes and cuffs this criminal, the criminal had no where to go in the 1 second the cop tazes and cuffs, and it'd make legitimate sense he had no place to hide the 50,000 he just stole, no place to store it, in that time frame and therefore when searching the criminal he should be able to take back the stolen money, and only the stolen money. Suddenly the LEO doesn't in 2 seconds lose the 50,000 that it takes LEOs quite some time to actually make that money. Meanwhile the criminal goes to jail, which is like 60 seconds,you can escape out of, and you only lose what, your time? The 50,000 you robbed that took you like 2 seconds to take from someone, and hell, you guys can rob more then just cops you know that right? You could also literally rob criminals too, and still make 50k per rob depending on how much the other person is carrying, it's so easy for Criminals to make money the fact they're trying to say a way that lets LEOs save their cash that they can make as overpowered is just really funny to me.
Now the way you balance it out is. ID 5 is a cop, and ID 7 is a criminal.
Give a timeframe from when ID 7 robs ID 5, that ID 5 can actually take the cash back. Like say 60 seconds after the criminal robs the cop, and only during those 60 seconds can the cop go ahead and take their cash back. That gives the cop their timeframe to take their money back, so as long as they keep distance on you and manage to cuff you in 60 seconds and take it back, and it gives the criminal time, because lets be real, once you're in a vehicle you can let them just blow you up, kill you, or get away and waste 60 seconds.
To the people saying "Just buy a wallet" is kind of hilarious because you're allowed to cophunt in this game, you can't buy a wallet at the PD, there's from point A to point B between the PD and the 7/11 where a crim could blow up your vehicle, take your entire 100k you had saved up from your previous life, and just run off with it, even if they get ARd right after.
It's a command that helps the cops keep their money when they don't have a huge source to make money, I give it a +1, and I think you can balance it out to a point where it just adds a bit of balance to the actual gameplay in ls-rcr.
