I come from a pagan background. We worship that which provides for us, Mother Nature. Our food, our shelter, everything we have, comes from the earth, from Her. When we pass, our bodies feed new life through grass and plants. Herbivores eat this grass we fed, and we in turn eat the herbivores that eat the grass, and we in turn make more grass. This is the Circle of Life. Mother Nature made us, and to her will shall all return. And she is capable of true fury when she deems it necessary. Tornadoes, Earthquakes, Hurricanes, all part of her plan. Do I believe some bearded man sits on a cloud controlling us? No. Do I think Mother Nature has created us and watches us with love and kindness, letting us enjoy the free will we enjoy? Absolutely.
