And Hobo: There is only one God, but there's different ways to believe in him and different views of him - the different religions. And it is a known fact that some religions remind of each other. Christianity, Judaism and Islam reminds a lot of each other. The Old Testament in the Bible exists in Judaism and Islam as well, and a lot of the Prophets are the same. Is that a coincidence or is it because it actually is a real story? Furthermore, you see a lot of names in the Bible that reminds of each other, but you don't normally see a book where the names are so alike, do you?

Yeah, but what my point was is that all of these things written in the bible with certain figures are very similar to things written in a whole different religion. Why would 2 different religions who believe in different gods have similar stories, etc but with different figures and different places on earth?

Honestly, I don't believe that there's a god, I believe that there was another life form that had come to earth at a time when Humans were still developing and since humans had no idea how to explain any of what was happening they labelled it as being "God". Why do i believe this? If you look at all these religions they talk about a figure coming from above, bright lights, flying, etc. There was also a documentary talking about this topic on discovery not to long ago.

I find this theory to be more realistic than a strange man in the sky listening to everyones prayers and answering them. We don't believe in Santa being able to give you what you want for Christmas, why would a "god" be giving you what you want when you ask for it.

Consider truthful what you want, but god wouldn't be known for everyone like he is now if he would have been real. The bible would be kept as a secret and not spread all over the world. Everything that goes around god would be known only for the head of the world, not the slaves ( us ).[/b]

can someone explain me why Christians wear cross necklaces and other symbols of it?

Catholics worship an idol god of Mary. Which the Bible says not to worship idol gods. [all that hail mary stuff]
Christians are not Jehovah's Witnesses, even though "Jehovah" is a name of Jesus from old testament.

Once again you start your sacred talk and post quotes from the bible. I won't stop you, post as many as you want. It will not change my mind nor will it make me want you to change yours. Tell me why should I listen to you? Why not some guy who believes in islam? Or a catholic, an orthodox? A muslim, a judaist? They will tell me the same bullshit just the way you do but they will rely on a different book. The only thing you'll all agree on is that god is real. I on the other hand find religion a weapon of mass manipulation. You can keep on saying stuff like "jesus will save you, god loves you all" all day long, I'm just tired of it, it's a pity that there are so many brainwashed people.
