Suggestion - /engine command [DENIED]

Your name: snipaxxyyy
Suggestion headline: Disable turning engine off unless you're the owner of the car or the car is useable by anyone
Picture: Keep the picture in this
Spoiler: show
Importance of suggestion: 8/10
Why should it be accepted: Turning engine off in cars of other players is a strategy nowadays and it is so annoying. There's LEOs camping outside of a store/blackmarket or whatever, waiting for you to come out and they turn your cars' engine off and whenever you want to escape, your car's engine will be off and while you type /engine you're already getting 4 shot by the LEO.This feature is unrealistic. How can you turn off the engine if you don't have the keys? This should be definitely disabled,it should work just like /color command.

While I agree that it's not fair...the realistic part of this is...not in your favor.

.How can you turn off the engine if you don't have the keys?

How can your engine be running if you have the keys? The keys have to be in the ignition and turned to 'on' for the engine to run. If you leave the engine running, the keys are still in the car. So while it's unfair, in a real situation the cops could break in and turn the engine off and take the keys from the car.

Sorry. :c

Even if you turn your engine off they'll still be able to play with your engine.

I don't think cops can break into a car and cut the contact cables within 2 seconds, can they?

Add a comand to take keys with driver. It will help in this situation. Like there will be a message when a cop try to enter criminal's car that car is locked. And if it's not then cop can enter.

I would not call his idea's "useless", as that is rather demeaning. He is just as entitled to his thoughts, opinions, and ideas as you are. While I think this suggestion either needs to be more thought out or is simply not a good one, I still commend him for his attempt, effort, and hard work he put into it. There is no need to tear someone down for having an idea. A simple "I don't agree" would suffice.

I believe for this idea to be implemented, it would need a lot of work, because it would give permission to the vehicle owners, but also work on swat vehicles (so all the swat members can do /engine if its a swat vehicle), for army and for groups. All this work, because of some annoying thing 5% of the community knows about and less do it.

Negative.
