Orange Wanteds

Your name: MaffiaDuck
Suggestion headline: Orange Players entering LEO vehicles
Picture: None
Importance of suggestion: 3/10
Why should it be accepted:
Orange Wanteds

As everyone knows there have been an update where the Law Enforcement (cops) gets a fine when killing Orange players (if they haven't opened fire against any Law Enforcement). And overall i like this update, but i think there are some things that can be improved with this new update. This are my suggestions improve it.

Law Enforcement Officers (cops) should be allowed to open fire/kill every Orange who enters any Law Enforcement vehicle (Police Car, Police Helicopter, Police Bike)

Why should we use this suggestion?
I think we need it because i have noticed lately that many Innocent players have turned wanted when they have entered a Police Helicopter and then they fly away, and when you are trying to prevent them for flying away the only thing you can do is to shoot them down and after that they die and you as a Law Enforcement Officer gets a fine. And at the same time this is a Suggestion that is pretty realistic, because if you would steal a Law Enforcement vehicle in real life im pretty sure you would get fired at.

Anything for score and points huh?

The reason you get fined is far too many LSPD officers are gun happy and shoot everything on sight, including whites. On the opposite end, many new users have no idea what the server is like, steal a police helicopter, and got blown up and quit thinking the server was heavily biased to police, which it was and still is. How about you do something like, i dont know... PURSUE THE SUSPECT!?

This suggestion is not suggested for the sake of score increasing, it is on the other side suggested to eventually increase every players enjoyment on the server when playing wheter as a LEO or Civilan. I understand that it may be confusing for new players being sprayed down when jumping inside a Police helicopter, but new players will see that they get wanted when they see their wanted level increase (The stars in the top right corner in-game) and if you dont think that is enough there could be some kind of message in the chat saying something similar to: "You have entered a law enforcement vehicle, all law enforcement are now allowed to gun you down".

Ps. It seems like you are dissatisfied with the server being "heavily based" baised to Law Enforcement, therefor i recommend you doing the same thing as i just did trying to come up with a suggestion that might improve Law Enforcement and Civilians being equivalent.

Kind Regards.

To be honest I don't at all like the Idea of making a penalty for cops when killing a suspect Because in many cases cops can do nothing except killing them . The new system says that you can't shot until you /pu and give time to the suspect so that he can surrender but the problem is that when someone is wanted , he won't let you get in range for the /pu so he'll keep just escaping , that's why i don't see things logic , cops are already chasing the suspect for like minutes and just luckly when they get close to thim they have to /pu to see if he's going to surrender while they have been chasing him for a good time and i think that's already enough to make him know he's supposed to stop and surrender . especially when he's wanted .

Now another example and i'll use what you said , When suspets steal a helicopter , well i can tell you just leave them because you can't shoot until you /pu , and considering the fact that you've to get close to the helicopter to /pu before he takes off ; having a good view to shoot if the driver don't surrender before 3 second , it's not worth at all to try , And even if this conditions happens and you succeed to kill the suspect , you won't gain any score or money , soo , leaving him escape without reacting and hoping that a cop will arrest him if he decides to land is the suitable decision ... We clearly notice then that these changes are blocking cops and making the job more weird.

Criminals don't gain score when killing cops ( i didn't consider the fact that they rob the cop after killing him which makes it like they gain score ) because their main job is to rob shops/players , sell drugs/weapons , i mean all illegal activites and there are plenty of them , Whereas Cops , all they can do is killing or arresting .

I know the subject of this suggestion is about the penalty but since it's related to the recent changes that affected cops i took the opportunity to express what i think about them , As for the suggestion that Maffiaduck did ,Im voting , Positive , it's a small change that can make the cops more free to choose from the small pool they got , but i hope things will be back the same as it used to be before V9 ( For cops gameplay )

Actually no, I find the police and criminals well balanced as far as GAMEPLAY. However, the LSPD (not swat/army/experienced LEOS) have been for a very long time DMing and breaking rules ALOT. You have no idea how many LEOs with ten arrests would see a yellow player, /rp them with 'parole' or even just a dot, then gun them down. Happened to me ALOT. Some hop on a bike and DM everyone. I have had some come up to me, asking me to duel. When I refuse, they /rp abuse, /cuff abuse, or outright DM me. They don't care about being warned, banned, ect. I actually made the suggestion to make orange's arrest only. Many of us agreed being /RPed into orange and gunned down was rather bad. With a non-violent orange, a pursuit and such actually challenges them to EARN their score, and this is no different. For the helicopter thing, maybe something else could be done, but for ground vehicles they should be pursued. Or, we could implement a system where civilians simply cannot drive a police vehicle like they can't drive gang vehicles.

Maybe that encourages cops to actually chase suspects instead of straight up popping tires making the suspect unable to escape, and that's exactly that criminals are supposed to do "escape" they should be escaping rather than getting themselves in /pu range unless they want to surrender, this is the literally only thing that involves skills in police gameplay and it gives cops a reason to drive better lol.

Logically cops can't do anything about criminals stealing helis or escaping in heli unless it's army with hunter or something.

There's room for changes here, maybe allow deadly force on air vehicles? Otherwise you can't do anything about them.

How about we double the /pu range as well?

I'm all for this. /pu range is extremely short for vehicle to vehicle usage.

Let's not. Things are actually pretty fair now. Cops actually have to work for their score, and criminals have to actually work to get away. It's not all about who can shoot the other first or who can spam the fuck out of /taze. It's about actual skill now. The only people who don't like this, are /taze spamming kids with no skills to actually win in a fair use fight. LSRCR has modernized since early samp. Early CnR SAMP servers. especially roleplay ones, wouldn't let you shoot unless shot at. Had to have fired at a cop before you could kill them. Private bases were non-existent. Free weapons were unheard of, you bought everything dirt cheap from a shore or gun runner. Players had to be smart and outwit each other, not just be faster with a gun. C-bug and 2-shot was an instant BAN for bug abuse. No really. Most servers back then would outright BAN you for something this server does every day. I don't get it, but I won't complain either. The server allows it, it's not my place to say anything against it. But the 'kill everyone' attitude the server has gotten is more of a TDM feel, not a CnR Roleplay feel.
