Effect Loader...

Actually never heard of this mod before today.
Supposedly you're able to just drop files in and it'll boot them into the game the same was Mod Loader does. Sounds cool right? Dropped a katana lightning effect and some new blood effects in. Nothing.
Rearranged folders many times, no results.
Made sure the .asi file was in the right place, no results.
I'm kind of stumped on this one. By all rights it should work, but it's not. If someone is familiar with this mod, or can tinker it enough to work, can you walk me through it? The Effect loader is on gtainside along with a katana lighting effect it requires. Just search them you should find them easily enough.
Also, no 'delete system 32' jokes. I'm looking for real help here, and I'm not @monster@ having a 16th fake birthday for an unban.
