Timer on cuffs

Your name: Lost_Soul
Suggestion headline: Add a timer between /cuff and /ar
Picture: Keep the picture in this
Spoiler: show
Importance of suggestion: 10
Why should it be accepted: We've been experiencing a bit of an epidemic lately: Cops who are suspiciously too good at arresting. There are cops who are 'supposedly' able to somehow use /cuff and /ar on your id at the exact same frame, despite hopping off a moving vehicle to do it. Like they just drive in and 'happen' to have your number, and arrest you before you even see them, let alone can shock or anything. Furthermore, we have a massive issue of cops ruining roleplays and such by just running up and doing this. I can't think of the amount of times I've said "ok, you got me, how much of a bribe" but by the time I type that, they have me in jail. It's utter bullshit and ruins gameplay for everyone. People keep complaining that there isn't enough criminals, and yet I've watched SEVERAL times where a cop will arrest 5 people in ten seconds, and then instantly ask why there are no criminals. Like seriously? You sent every wanted user to jail in under 10 seconds, and ask why no one wants to be wanted? With this "1 cop can arrest multiple users at the same time" system, it's no wonder criminals feel the need to gun them down. So my proposal is simple.

1: Add a timer between /cuff and /arrest. I would say 3 seconds would be fine. Gives the criminal time to /bc or have someone /pcs them. It also gives them time to bribe the officer (or at least offer one). It would also prevent these children who brag about how good they are because they "copy paste" commands. One, I doubt they actually do, and two, that's pretty unfair and shouldn't be allowed in the first place.
2: This was suggested earlier, but making /cuff have a chance of failing (this isnt my idea, im bringing it up here because I like the idea)
3: Make it against the rules to copy/paste commands. It's highly unfair as we criminals cannot do anything against it. We're defenseless when cops do it, and it's simply not right.

Making any of those should bring up the criminal class. Thank you <3

You literally typed this straight after being fairly /cuff'd and /ar'd by Grand/Moral. You were even glorifying in game how you had to "go do something in forums" and then came back and "done". You did not even pretend to be unanimous in the decision, nor did you put half of a brain cell into writing the suggestion. You just got fairly beaten, bitched in game (twice) about Moral's "suspicious behavior" and then wrote this embarrassment.

-1. Take this seriously for once.

Moral is famous for this yes, but he wasn't actually the one who made me start thinking on it. ImLander is. Still, if you want the HUNDREDS of screenshots of cops who cuff and arrest in the exact same time stamp, I'll give you them. Dozens of them. Video too, where officers hop off NRG-500 and somehow cuff and arrest you before they even stop the jumping animation. If you think that's fair, you're part of the problem.

EDIT I looked up your profile, how interesting. 11 posts, account made on March 24th (so less than a month old) and yet you know how the game is played, what the issues are? And how did you know Grand's old name? Off-topic, but you sir are suspicious and your opinion on this suggestion is disregarded.

Not sure what command you mean?

/bc? chance of failing
/shock? Already cuffed, won't work
/pcs? You have to hope someone is right beside you and knows to do it.

And like I refered to, this would also be a preventative measure against certain things tat aren't allowed, but are nearly impossible to prove. I'm saying ImLander or Grand have it (I'm sure they don't) but for those who do, it would help.

And like I also pointed out, it would help increase criminals in the server, something we've been lacking lately outside of cophunts and when no cops are online.

Copy paste has nothing to do with the issue here, some doesnt need to copy paste as their soc are good enough, even i can type it very fast but copy paste is much easier and sometimes we even forget to copy then we write it, thus its better you improve your soc

This will make it too hard for cops.
I'd rather like to see timer between /ar command for each suspect of 30 seconds. Or you're must taze first to cuff, or cuff failure chances.

Whoever you are thank you, you summed it all up very nicely. This does sound like one of you impulsive rants which you do so often Lost Soul, so I really cannot take it as a serious suggestion, more of a subjective outburst of yours because you cannot handle losing that well.

It's a -1 for the suggestion, what you really need to do is calm and collect yourself before creating impulsive suggestions such as this, purely out of an inability to /bc on time before being sent to jail.

Robin has a point here, i disliked the suggestion. Also, this seemed to be made for personal advantage. -1

Although, @faraon adding a time between /arrest cmd means useless to me, to be honest.

Fine, give all the negative feedback. I'm going to be recording a montage of instant arrests and post it, and we'll see how fair you think it is.

Also, I've been working on this for two weeks. Don't take whatever Ada says to heart.
