Importance of suggestion: 8/10
Why should it be accepted: So, the Jefferson Hotel Riot is by far my FAVORITE event. It's simple, yet effective. No one needs to really worry about much. Cops run in and shoot criminals, criminals run in and shoot getting them wanted. No need to worry about robbing or such. There's no scoring, no fines, nothing to truly worry about. But that doesn't mean it doesn't have flaws. Mainly, rushing and ending. So I have two ideas.
1: Add two barricades: When active, the admin hosting usually adds a simple car into the hallway as a 'line' to stop rushing. It works, but it's not truly effective. My suggestion here is rather simple: Add two barricades like SWAT has, one near the criminals one near the cops. Between these two barricades is a no entry zone. If you're a cop or wanted, the admin running it can kick/ban on his/her discretion. Makes its more clear to all involved where the zones are.
2: Add a cooldown: We had this issue today. The admin stopped the riot, but all it did was say it a single time in chat. I had no idea the riot ended, and as soon as the admin logged out, SWAT bombed the remaining criminals and arrested us all. That may not seem like a big deal, until you look at the implications. One, we were defenseless because the bomb removed out guns and tazed us. Two, the fact everyone got arrested meant the cops got score for about 15 people. That's 45 score in under 10 seconds for the cops! No other single event, task, ect in the server allows that kind of score in that time! Furthermore, this is only to the cops. Because we get wanted by shooting, and do not get score for killing, the criminals do NOT benefit from this event in the slightest outside of fun. The cops should be the same, just killing for fun, no score or profit. But by using the SWAT bomb as soon as the event ended, the cops got a HUGE scoreboost and money, while criminals got nothing. The best part of this event is that it's FAIR for both sides. The bomb going off literally right as it ended made it hugely unfair, and that was complete bullshit. The event shouldn't just suddenly end, and cops bomb and cuff. Instead, when the admin ends the event, a ten minute timer should begin. During this time, the rules still apply. No cuffing, no rushing, and so on. Give the criminals a chance to actually clear out. In ten minutes, the criminals should have enough time either A) choose to go down since the event is ending, or B) choose to stay and risk being arrested. Having it just suddenly end and we all get arrested while cops get score and money makes the event very one sided, and ruins the fair play of it. It's not been an issue before, but it happened today, and so now it needs to be addressed. The event should be good nature fun for both sides, not a sudden end with score/money for just one side.
