Tag removal for punishment.

Your name: funderburk
Suggestion headline: remove tag removal as a punishment.
Picture: ur mom
Importance of suggestion: 10
Why should it be accepted: Tag removal as a punishment shows nothing but a lack of judgement of the staff and members that voted for said player to represent the community.

The idea that you have your tag removed for breaking a rule as a punishment is nonsensical, you can have the tag for 3 years get into an argument over different opinions with a player and have your tag removed and banned just for you to reapply for it whenever you are thought to "deserve" to represent the community.
Considering the community is not as prevalent as it once was you would think that you would want more members representing your community and actively being a part of the community. And the reality of actually removing the tag for someone who is only banned for few days or a week seems like spitting in the face of someone who plays and enjoys investing time and effort into the server. This punishment should be reserved for permenant bans only.

I agree with this. I can understand removing it when tagged members do something truly awful like aimbot, hack, or something like that. But removing it over saying something rude, or something like an accidental DM? Just last night had to worry if I was going to have my tag pulled again for DM because I killed a user who had it but it expired before I finished him. I do understand that we are ment to represent the community, but let's be realistic for a moment. I've had staff make fun of me for being a firefighter, staff make fun of me being female. MULTIPLE staff asking for fucking feet pics. I get it, their joking, but if staff do the shit people lose their tags over, it's pretty hypocritical.

Having the tag beside your name is a big responsibility. You are the face of the community, representing it to all new players. All tagged members are supposed to have full knowledge of rules and carry good attitude at all times. If one can not follow the very basic rules, he doesn't deserve to hold the tag since he is setting a wrong example for everyone. Ending up into an argument is completely fine, but getting abusive and toxic during it is not really something expected from someone holding the tag.

TL;DR The system is completely fine for now. If one can not follow rules, he should not apply for the tag in the first place.

As a tagged member, you are reminded that you are representing the community and are therefore expected to be fully aware and compliant with community guidelines. Remember - tagged members act as role models to the rest of the community.

Tagged members who are found to be poorly representing the community by violating guidelines or/and displaying misconduct will have their tag removed and will be subject to a tag blacklist where appropriate. Note: You are permitted to request the removal of your tag at any point by contacting an admin however do note it may harm your prospects of being granted a chance to represent the community again.*

If your suggestion applies, I wouldn't apply for tag if it be like that, Tag is nothing special then. -1

You're not wrong, but don't you think tagged members, who have proven themselves, should also be given a small bit leeway? As in, we're having a bad day, tell a bitcher care kid to fuck off with his DMing... should we lose our tag for that?
