Simple fix: do NOT bring up the chat bar when selecting a skin without putting something in. If you run a command (like /gspawn) and press enter you're fine, but if you pull up the chatbar then just press enter, it bugs the selection screen because you 'picked' a skin without the system knowing which one, so it can't tell what you want and shits the bed.
