Why should it be accepted: Prices of items have not been changed when money was reduced. I mean look at current police paycheck (2000$). It's too low cash. While we have criminals use a lot of different ways to make money, LEOs here only have their low paychecks and money for arresting. Before the money reduce, paychecks were okay, but after it's too low comparing to criminals. LEOs would feel good if they get paid enough money to save and spend.
