Hi,

Despite the game slowly dying and its initial developers closing the official sa-mp forums, over the last two years we've still experienced significant growth in registered users. However, the amount of active users decreased. We have relied on making the game more complex to give more content for players who have been playing for some time but this complexity in both in-game and our policies led to less interest of activity for new players and ultimately to lower playerbase, as older players moved to different games.

In order to bring ls-rcr to its former glory we've decided to open a 'task force' and reorder how we do things. We are looking into significant server policy updates especially related to bans/rules and simplifying gameplay by removing or adjusting some features. With the new staff hierarchy, updates will be done faster and will be based on simplicity of CNR mode and "softer" way of TDM.

Staff hierarchal changes

Hello everyone

We are ready to announce the first set of changes taking place in Ls-rcr. Our first focus has been on simplifying the staff hierarchy in effort to improve efficiency and to close previously existing power gaps between different groups of members in the community. You can find below our new reformed staff structure and their new roles within Ls-rcr.

Community Managers

They retain the highest authority and reserve executive management powers over the community. Our team of managers, led by JohnCarer, will oversee the leadership of senior members of staff and will now only involve themselves where necessary in extraordinary events. Community Managers will also now be your point of contact for all donation matters.

Senior Administrator

They are your new leaders and retain the second highest level of authority in the community. Senior Administrators are now responsible for managing the server and its updates, the staff team and the support system in place for both players and staff. Members of this team will liaise on regular intervals with the community and will enforce changes where necessary in a timely manner.

Game Administrator

Your front line members of staff. They continue to support you with all in-game concerns and help keep this community in good shape by promoting law and order. This team of players enforce community guidelines and hold a full set of administrative tools to assist them with this.

Game Moderator

We have removed the trial moderator rank and now have a standalone moderator position. All new members of staff starting at the moderator stage will assist players with any issues requiring staff guidance and intervention. Furthermore, moderators will also help administrators in dealing with players committing lighter offences. These changes will help us better assess the suitability of moderators for progression onto the full administrative rank.

Staff Inactivity Sweep

We have decided to target staff inactivity head on and have taken swift action on removing members of staff who have not been seen in over 3 months. This has resulted in the removal of 14 inactive administrators. We thank them for their service and the support they have provided to the community throughout the years. We will continue to monitor staff activity and will make regular interventions where needed.

Group bases
2022

One of the most used gameplay features on ls-rcr have become groups due to unique gameplay benefits. These perks eventually led to decrease of CNR and promoted more TDM, to less use of some job skills and many other features.

In the next update, along with many TBA features, we're removing the following from all groups: Weapon/drugs/item racks & dispenser.

Exterior bases will not be allowed in Los Santos anymore. Group leaders may exclusively purchase unique floor at Glen's Park building with the ability to map it themselves through in-game built editor. It will include custom garage, roof access and all remaining group features. All current "luxury apartments" at Glen's park have been reset and their owners refunded (under condition their contract was valid) as this skyscraper will now be used only for groups.

Donation Vehicles

Invalid House Locations
2023

All houses will be placed for sale this evening from 22:00 GMT +0.
Please read the following information:

House owners have 7 days (or until someone purchases the house) to login to the server and cancel the house sale if they wish to keep it.
Houses that are still for sale after 7 days, will be transferred to Lsrcr.
Invalid houses that are transferred to Lsrcr will be deleted.
Players who have an invalid house and cancelled the sale, will be offered the chance to move invalid houses to a new location.
Moving houses will be operated on a first come, first served basis - once the house locations are gone, they are gone.
Purchase of a donation house via /server > purchase a donation house is currently suspended, no new houses will be approved.
If you have found a new location for a house you know is invalid (see below list) and are ready to move your house you can contact Veen or Oxy - do not contact them to help you find a new location, they will only be on hand to move your houses if you have a valid location.

Houses must be houses, they cannot be attached to shops, skyscrapers, banks etc.

The following list of houses are invalid - if you have already moved your house with Veen or Oxy then you do not need to do anything.

Please note that houses will be placed for sale at a very high price following the V10 update this evening. Do not panic if you cannot login within the first few hours of V10 being released, it's very unlikely that someone will have the chance to buy your house.

Refunds timeline

As the new update is deployed, we are looking into compensations for features we are removing and were donated for. This includes both group and house updates. This will be completed in phases over the next two weeks. The current priority is server stability and bug fixes should any occur. More will be announced in the following timeline.

House Relocations
2023

Starting from today, players who own houses in invalid spots have 1 month (until 25 February 2023) to relocate their houses to a new desired location.

If you own a house in an invalid spot then you will be able to move your house to:
a. A free spot deemed valid in accordance to the new house placement guidelines
b. A valid spot owned by 'NULL'

To move your house you are to contact Veen, Oxy, eg_Fla$h or para and ask for relocation of your houses.

If you fail to relocate your houses that were deemed invalid within the 1 month period then you are going to lose them.

If you find your house ID on this list then it means it is invalid.

We have processed the removal of the [Lsrcr] tag from our community. Players can no longer apply for it.

We have only removed the [Lsrcr] tag and kept your username in its original form. In case you have trouble with logging in to your SAMP account please write a support ticket here.

Supporter Scheme - 2023

Hi everyone

We have re-launched our Supporter Scheme. All supporters have been removed as part of this and all those still with a genuine interest in helping the community out are encouraged to re-apply.
