Why should it be accepted: Since money has no value right now, no one is trying to earn it anymore. The only thing that is worth saving your money for is just reputation or houses/donation points as you can obtain guns, drugs, and vehicles for free. Nobody has any motive to rob stores or banks any longer. Significant changes have to be made.
