Why should it be accepted: It should be accepted because that is only logical thing to do clearly. If both partners participate in weapons robbery, they should both hold equal credit despite the fact that one of the partners isn't directly involved in stealing weapons, but they guard the place outside, which is of equal importance.
I tested this with a group member who held the guard role. They were not given a group stat to "donated weapons" after we completed the robbery. Thank you very much.
