Advice about recommendations

Hello,

lately more and more members of both teams are recommending for meaningless stuff like "nice status / normal score / good test, etcetera." Avoid recommending for stuff like that, because members of the teams can clearly see his test/score/status, it's just spam. Recommendations must be valuable, given to people who DESERVE it. Not to those who are your friends in the server. Give them a recommendation if you believe they must join the desired team.

Backing up my words with few quotes by SWAT and army members:
Recommended.
Great /status.
Not recommended
Bad test
Good Luck
Recommended He Isn't Bad.
My words go not only to SWAT members, but army members as well. :)

Please read this as well before posting a recommendation.

Regards,
[Lsrcr]Ryder
San Andreas Army First Sergeant

First, it's your choice whether to recommend or not, I can't force you to do that, because I'm not a commander/general.

And if you ask me, I would never give a no-recommendation about a bad test because that's what the members of the team are for.

I totally agree. Army and SWAT members must stop doing this. In the past I made many posts fighting against useless recommendations and I'm happy to see that the Army side is fighting against that too but I'm also sad because I didn't see any big improvement. Once again:
Recommending isn't like voting.

You (dis)recommend someone special to you who is really good or bad. So you dis-recommend massive rulebreakers, spammers, flamers etc... You should recommend someone who is very skilled, who really deserves to be Army/SWAT in your opinion etc...
Recommending someone because "good status" is just stupid. It's also stupid too see a recommendation from the same player in every apply... It seems that many Army/SWAT members don't understand the meaning of recommending and that must be changed.
